I thought alcohol markers would work on this type of paper but if give of a grainy texture to the colors of the markers

I want to start out by saying these are my favorite sketch pads. Theyre perfect for me! Now, I received a sketch pad that was a little banged up in the corner, thats a no Bueno for me because I make art. So I contacted Arteza directly and I asked if they could replace it. Love this brand! Great books for sketching

At first I ordered a 100 lb weight paper. It’s too grainy. So I ended up buying the 80 lb weight and that was a good thickness for me. The 80 lb isn’t flimsy but it’s still smooth. The 100 lb paper a slightly more grainy product and the 80 is smooth, but does not give a slick look for your work.

My husband is an artist and loves many of Artesias products. He goes through a lot of sketch pads and these are well made and never fall apart.
