The tubes are large, exciting range of colors, an excellent value. I bought these to begin pallette knife painting. Just beginning to use these paints with new pallette knife set...a new art for me. To me, new tubes of paint are like opening a new box of crayons and taking a big sniff...

My 14 year old granddaughter was very happy with this paint set.

I like the paint set. Its great for a beginner. But the caps!!!! Caps break easily. Dont over tighten. Dont leave any paint on the tube where the cap meets the tube. The problem is the cap is extremely thin plastic and will crack if paint is left on the tube ring where it dispenses or if you over tighten. I wish I could buy replacement caps. UPDATE: Arteza customer service is responsive. They offered to replace the set. However, Im not confident that Arteza remediated the cap situation. I cant seem to just buy new caps. They offer a 30 day satisfaction guarantee but the problem is the caps break after that period of time. Thats like buying a Range Rover and knowing its going to break after the 3 year warranty. Better to lease those!

This paint is very pigmented, which I like. I’m the type to layer colors of paint while it is wet. A beginner could use these paints and love them also, they wash off the brushes with soap and water.

The colors are vivid and consistency is well ... consistent. I can use the paint right out of the tube if its the right color, and the colors mix very smoothly. Good selection of colors to work with, too. Really loving this set of paints as a starting point. I hadnt painted in years and my old paints were all dried up, so started from scratch with this set. I used up the whole tube of white on my first painting. Tubes are small, nice for getting a good selection, but you probably want to stock up on extra for any colors you use often like white.

PHENOMENAL SET!!! Bought these to add detail to a 14” crucifix, there are so many amazing colors to choose from! They are so easy to use, they mix and blend very well and have the largest color selection for the price. Now my kids and I have taken up making dollhouses and furniture and once again it excelled!! For the wood furniture I just watered down my color of choice and it makes a great stain for doll funiture...I also used that same technique to touch up my dining room table!! BEST paints I have used!!! If you do a lot of art projects or are starting up a hobby, these will make it so much fun!!

The paint is great, but opening a bottle is very frustrating. Generally a quick peel off of the inner paper seal would do it, right? But every time I open one of these, there is a plasticy film left over still sealing up the paint. I have tried many ways to get it off easily, and there is now yellow paint on my floor, walls, and CEILING because when you pop that seal the paint explodes. Seems like this should be a small fix. The paint itself is thick and vibrant - I like it very much.

Terrific metallic colors. Just a sampling of these colors that I can buy more of, These paints also can be blended with other paints to lend a sheen to most acrylic paints. Alone Arteza paints the cover is beautiful! Highly recommened.

I am glad these are pearlescent rather than metallic. The sheen when held up to the right light is gorgeous. I already have some projects ready for these. One includes fabric. I purchased some textile medium for acrylic paints to use with these and the iridescent set. Since I am just beginning with acrylic paints, I feel this set is a good start.
