Greater than one weekI’m a farrier in northern CA and this is by far my favorite thrush treatment/preventative. It’s easy to use, and not harmful if I get it on my hands. I prefer it to liquid or powder treatments because it creates a lasting barrier between your horses frog/comminuted and the crud you’re trying to keep out of the hoof.

> 3 dayI got in a rescue horse that had severe thrush and was on stall rest for an injury. My farrier recommended this to me and it works wonders. I pack her feet with it and it stays in on its own (no need for wrapping) for 3-4 days. Been using it for 4 weeks now and her thrush is almost completely gone.

> 3 dayDuring the wet muddy seasons, my farrier recommended this stuff. It works great! My horse has less issues with his feet since we started using this product.

> 3 dayThis product when really jammed into the central sulcus and collateral grooves will stay put even in muddy PNW weather for a good week . Its excellent for treating thrush ..

> 3 dayIt’s still in the hoof days later, even after turnout in a wet field. Not positive it’s curing or preventing thrush, however it seems like a healthier option than having a hoof packed with excrement!

> 3 dayI found the “mud” to be easy to use on my horse’s hooves, elastic and stays in place. It was recommended by my barefoot farrier. I found it to exceed my expectations.
