Greater than one weekI have been searching for a whey protein powder with no artificial sweeteners or other artificial ingredients. I use Ascent in my morning smoothies with a frozen banana, some peanut butter, and a couple of tablespoons of oatmeal, whirled in a blender. Sometimes I throw in some Hersheys Special Dark cocoa powder. Delicious!

> 3 dayI feel like I have tried a lot of whey in my life. Whey has evolved a lot. Its not all created equal. IMO ingredients matter. Taste and consistency matter. I hate spending money on whey that no one in my house will use. I originally found this brand at WF on sale. I like chocolate PB flavored anything. It mixes pretty well with water. I mix this with coffee a lot. I do not mind the taste. I recommended this brand to people when theyre looking for a cleaner whey. I was excited to find this on a lightning deal since the retail price is on the moderate to high side. I am a repeat purchaser of this product

> 3 dayThe powder mixes well in a shaker and has a good flavor. However, it lacks a thicker creamy texture as shake.

> 3 dayI am a big fan of this product and the other flavors. My favorite chocolate flavored protein I have tried. I just mix it with almond milk or milk and my kids call it a “milkshake”. I use it after a workout or sometimes just for breakfast on the way out the door. The lemon sorbet is great with a fruit smoothie.

> 3 dayI’ve been using this protein powder for months in my everyday smoothies and the flavor is great. The only downside is the price keeps steadily increasing to where it’s not worth the hike for the 2lb amount you’re given. Lower the price back down to $30 then I’ll resume buying once a month.

Greater than one weekI bought this for the price and all the great reviews. Ok, I am spoiled and have been using Axe and Sledge protein, Steel Protein, and Nutrithority Protein. Ascent doesn’t even come close to any of the mentioned protein powders. But keep in mind the Axe and Sledge is $70, Steel is around $55, and Nutrithority is $50. Ascent is good protein for the price but for me once I tasted the protein wasn’t very tasty. I will spend the extra money and not purchase Ascent protein again.

> 3 dayIve found this mixes easily in my blender with no clumps. I use yogurt and 1% milk and a couple of ice cubes. Flavor is good - mild but pleasant and not overly sweet.
