I would give 5 stars, except for fact one of the bulbs did not work. It has taken us 6 weeks after receiving to put up new light fixtures and now to late to return. So buyer beware, try them all out when you recieve if you are not going to use right away.

I was kind of hoping that the outside tint would have been a bit darker. Even when dimmed by my lamp its still pretty bright. The lamp is industrial and made to see the bulb without a shade. So with the bulb dimmed to the max, it doesnt have much of an ambient quality for me. Mostly a not being able to see something before I can buy it thing. In the end it does its job of bringing light and quietly dims.

I got these for the back patio so I could relax out there at night. For a housing complex, theyre too bright and will disturb your neighbours. I plugged these in and was instantly reminded of that scene from National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (if youve seen the movie, youll get the reference). I got a complaint from the housing authority. BUT, if you live in a house and your neighbours are far away, these things would be GREAT to light up a patio or a deck or a pool deck. Plastic bulbs are also a plus since they wont smash if the wind knocks them down. They look JUST like real, glass, edison bulbs.

Ive never really gotten into the LED bulbs on the market and most of this is probably because of the truly artificial looking light quality. And, these lights just appeared more natural looking on line than others. What I like about these is they get bright!!! But I really like that they also get very dim. As you can see in the photos, these are almost black when dimmed down. Other LED lights would only go 1/2 dark before the light would shut off completely.

I do like this bulb. Im staying in a basement and the fixtures are old with the yellow around it and I had to take the yellow glass/plastic out of the fixture in order to brighten up the basement.

I really liked these bulbs. Im fairly picky with bulb coloring but these are great. Not too bright bluish white and no yellow to them either! Plus they are dimmable which is an added plus. Only issue I have is one of the Bulbs that came in was loose at the base. Thought I could screw it back together but its still loose. I should mention I havent tried reaching out to the manufacturer. Im sure it wouldnt be an issue if I did but just needed these asap and dont have time to send back while waiting on new ones.
