I use electrical probes in a lot of projects and small electronics trouble shooting. This multimeter looked interesting for several reasons, including the fact that it has built-in settings for testing various batteries.

I use this meter for occasional electrical work. I dont use it every day, so I wanted a meter that was reasonable priced. Im very pleased with the number of functions. It has everything that I need for electrical, and simple electronics troubleshooting. I tested the accuracy of the voltage, current, and capacity functions, and they are all quite good. I also like the battery test functions including the 12 volt range. The best part is that it uses two AAA Batteries. No more running around trying to find a 9V battery.

I was looking for a good general meter to have around the house to help with my electrical projects. This meter seems to do everything I need it to. Working well right out of the box. For the price, this seems like a very good product. Good for all your basic needs. Quality seems to be well built. I would recommend this one.

Ive only used it to test capacitance so far, and it worked well. For anyone confused like in an earlier review, there are caps on the wires that need to be removed before plugging into the meter.

The quality seems pretty good. I do wish there was some ergonmic common sense with battery access where you didnt have to remove case screws and take apart unit to get to the batteries but it doesnt surprise me considering who the manufacturers are. There really is nothing bad to say about the way it functions. It has all of the features and they all operate in a responsive nature with good accuracy.

Already paid for itself measuring batteries... just saved almost full pack of AA and AAA thought they were done nope just 5 or 6.
