Initially, this DMM worked well. I used it on numerous electronics projects. It worked well for several months. Currently, it randomly switches between settings and it’s not impossible to use (just very difficult). I’ll probably have to pull it apart to figure it out. I should have probably went with a Fluke, but I was being cheap. If you’re on the fence with this DMM, I’d recommend spending the couple extra bucks for a more reputable DMM.

I had to wait a while to submit a review because I had to learn how to use it. I’m still working on that but I am finding the inherent quality designed into the device. The probes have safety tips that, if you don’t remove, leaves you doubting why you bought this device. Once you see the value of the covers you realize you have a good meter. It has more capability than I do or have a need for. I’m glad I have it now.

Will Recommend this to anyone. The Auto SHUT OFF switch is Excellent.

For $18 I got would would have cost $400 dollars not too long ago. The truth is that you can put a lot of bang into these things fairly cheaply, but many manufacturers dont. I was incredibly pleased at the looks, solidity, and extra features of this lower middle range tool. It only cost me an extra 2 bucks to get the next level up in accuracy. The ability to detect live current potential from outlets or switches without any wires is amazing, and I like the fact that there is a bright light to let you know, rather than having to look at the display. Highly recommend, also recommend getting the slightly more robust and accurate meter for a few bucks more. You get a lot of extra capability for that 2 bucks. Databyter
