Video quality is great for a computer that is only used to view you tube videos and access the web.

Nice big screen Chromebook with long term updates. The screen quality and overall performance are good for a Chromebook at this price range. It has good battery life. I have been very happy with it so far.

This Chromebook would not turn on. Or at least the screen would not wake up. Until I put it back in the box to send it back then magically the screen turned on. So thats the way it got shipped back.

I bought this Chromebook for my 76 year old mother. I was the one who did the setup. The initial setup failed over and over. It connected to the internet, but would not set up the primary user. It would allow me to login as a guest, but not set up the primary. I researched and found this is a known error with some Chromebooks. It doesnt appear to be brand specific, but rather has to do with the version of the Chome OS, theres a bug in the OS. I ended up having to follow the steps to completely reinstall the operating system. All in all, it took me a couple of days between researching, downloading the new OS (the download itself was also a bit buggy to get) and reinstalling the OS and then finishing the setup. For a product that is supposed to be simple to use, I was very disappointed. The option of returning for a new one was there, but my mom lives on the other side of the country from me and is not tech savvy so she would have had no idea what to do to set it up once the new one got there, because I was only there for a week. Once I got it set up, it seems fine, and the machine itself is attractive with a large screen and great resolution. It gets a 2 star rating because it arrived as a brick, but I was able to fix it.

I mostly work with Google Drive and reading PDF files. So Chromebook is a good fit for me. And I trust ASUS too. So an ASUS Chromebook is perfect for me.

Surfing the net, watching videos, cant beat the price for the 17.3 screen. Easy set up.

Doesnt give privacy from the sides.

Love how much more I can see on 17 inch screen. Extended keyboard with numbers keypad and delete key is a real plus. Also, battery lasts all day!
