Love the chromebook. The battery drained a little faster than I had hoped, but it is fast and the flip feature that turns it into a notebook is awesome. There is a c-type input on both the left and right sides for the power cord which is cool. There are even these great hard cover cases (like a cell phone case) that come in two pieces so they can stay on even when you flip it to use the notebook feature. Unfortunately, you need to buy one for that exact model. I found out too late... so if you have a C433 model it wont fit a C432 model case.

I love the collapsing screen to allow for better digital drawing and painting. Great for my graphic design work and digital illustrations. Easy setup with on screen directions. Up and running in less than an hour. I’m a techie that used many operating systems and this laptop has a great touchscreen. Great quality for the price. Recommend!

I use this for basic bill paying, browsing the web, writing papers. My major complaint is the keyboard. There is no caps lock key! Why?! And the worst is that in most light, you cannot see the symbols, letters etc on the keypad! So it’s great if you’re using as a tablet primarily but for extensive writing, it’s a pain. I’m going to look into keyboard stickers so i can actually see the letters.

Why is the consumer treated like little more than a profit point by these corporations? I would prefer a decently priced laptop that wasnt so locked into that ideal. Its not a good trade off. Something that is slightly useful only because google seems to own the internet. This why I returned this. Too tied to google. Too data mined for their profit. As heavy as it is I would not expect it to flex as much as it does. I wonder if it has had weight added to it just give the illusion it is built better than it is.

Its acceptable to have one faulty laptop, but I bought 2 of these a few weeks apart for business and they both became unusable after less than a month of purchase. The worst part is this happened merely days after the return window closed. I would never buy an ASUS product again. We have purchased Samsung and HP Chromebooks and they have worked perfectly for years. ASUS is garbage.

    Greater than one week

This product lasted 4 months, then died. Won’t boot. ASUS is in the process of botching up the RMA. They are billing me in advance of services rendered, then not delivering those services in the time they specified. I’m done with ASUS. I will purchase a replacement from another company.

The laptop is very well built and doesnt feel cheap. Arguably the best chromebook for the price and features on the market. The keyboard is Back lit and the display is good. The 8gb ram gives it fast response and having 64gb of built in storage is very nice. Gives you plenty of storage for your average user. You can always expand storage with SD card or external hard drive. The battery is very good and touch screen is very responsive. The display is bright and vibrant. With consistent use doing web searching and messing around you will get 8 + hours easy. Charging is fast as well. I did alot of comparison shopping and if you are looking for a laptop for everyday use this is an excellent choice. You can download Microsoft Word and excel free from app store and they work very well. It does take a day or two to get use to the chrome o.s. versus using windows. But, that is expected. It lays flat like a tablet would and automatically turns off keyboard when in the tablet position. The touchscreen is just like using a tablet and response is very good. The camera is decent enough for video calls etc. But probably not as good as newer smart phones offer. I came from a windows o.s background and within a few hours I was use to chrome features and navigation. The apps or programs are in the task bar which you can be move from bottom left and right side of the screen. At first I was annoyed not being able to move the icons on the home screen as I did with windows machines, but after a while I liked the Taskbar and wasnt bothered at all. To right click you use two fingers at once to click the pad. This threw me off at first. I kept trying to click the right side of the pad with no luck until I looked that up. Just an FYI if youre new to chromebook. But, you get use to that quickly. Overall Id give it a 9/10. I am fairly tech savvy and needed a laptop for email, web surfing, and other basic needs. This was perfect for me and does everything I need a computer to do fast and efficiently. Enjoy.
