Greater than one weekMy particular job requires the use of many VMs running all at once, so I was really keen on getting a laptop with an i9 processor. Looking in that market, anything with an i9 is easily $2K and onward. I picked this laptop up on the recent Amazon Black Friday deal for $1,649.99 which was an absolute steal! Im a big fan of the sleek black thin look (which is not common among some of the other gaming laptops like Alienware) along with the option to disable the extra lighting (it looks great with it on). Its just a personal preference of mine to not have my laptop look like a Christmas tree in a professional work environment. I just threw MW2 on here and it runs maxed out with a solid 60 fps throughout. This truly is an all-in-one package for me in terms of work and play. I went out of my way to upgrade my ram to 64 GB for the purposes of running multiple VMs and it runs fantastically. My only caveat (but this is common now-a-days with these manufactured laptops) is the little amounts of bloatware that was present in the operating system; but that was a quick uninstall. All in all, fantastic product with a great build, I am really glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase.

> 3 dayI liked it except for the fact that it was not 1440 resolution. I play games at 4k with Dolby Vision at times. Dropping down to 1080 with Dolby Vision I just couldnt do. Especially since I thought I was getting 1440 which is basically 2k. I could have dealt with that. Everything else was great. Unfortunately, I had to return it for that reason.

> 3 dayAfter 5 months the laptop keyboard lights up, but no screen or boot attempt. Just hear fans cycling and the keyboard is just red. Id expect a laptop like this to last a few years before having problems. Never moved from my desk since opening it. Vastly disappointed.

Not that random a buyer
> 3 dayThis laptop is amazing. Ive had it for only a week since writing this, but I am not disappointed. Getting 16gb of ram for well optimized games should suffice, but it would be better to aim for 32/64gb. I ended up upgrading to 32gb and am very happy.

Greater than one weekThis is a great gaming computer but it does have a few shortfalls for a computer that is in its price point.

> 3 dayBy far the coolest laptop I ever have. The RGB visual effect is awsome and it is perfect for playing game. The design of keystone and numerical keypad is intersting as well. PS: The review is written for a warranty extension from ASUS.

> 3 dayDo not get this laptop if you wish to replace a typical desktop computer and use it with dual external monitors. Especially via the USB C port. I am constantly dealing with the computer entirely freezing up and losing HDMI signal. This occurs when doing absolutely nothing CPU/GPU intensive. Simply opening a Netflix tab will kill the monitor signal and the entire computer will become unresponsive for many minutes at a time, often requiring a hard restart.
