Great for the price, bought it during Black Friday sale, also bought a Samsung ssd and added it to the laptop for extra storage.

CPU temps were hitting 97C when gaming out of the box. With throttle stop and changing power settings to 99% cpu max and turbo disabled gets it down to about 82C which I think is still too hot. Cannot undervolt as they have it locked so you cannot. Will change my review if I can get the temperature down more but for now beware.

The product would certainly work well for gaming, so long as it is plugged in at all times, but I had needed the device to do productivity work as well where it would be running on battery power. On the asus site the battery life is advertised at 16.6 hours while watching video. I had the machine idling and could barely get 3, which is certainly not enough for a day of work. Another issue that I experienced was that the display settings would reset themselves every time you plugged it in out unplugged the machine. Overall while the machine would work well for gaming when plugged in, for my purposes the device is utterly useless. I will certainly be returning this one to Amazon.

En primer lugar me sentí estafado ya que a los pocos días que compre esta laptop a $1,299.00 se puso en oferta a $1,069.00 o sea pagué $230.00 más los impuestos que esa cantidad representan. Ahora con el tema de la pantalla cuando está el fondo negro se ven unos destellos por toda la zona del marco que se ven horribles, da la impresión de una pantalla de mala calidad. Por todo lo demás la laptop es muy potente y estéticamente agradable…

I have had this laptop for about a week now. It works great when running games such as fortnite and league of legends at 120 fps. Screen quality is really good and it truly is a very good gaming laptop for its price. My only big issue about longevity I worry about is the laptop still gets very hot while gaming, and it is brand new. The laptop charger brick also gets VERY hot while gaming so just be aware. I still don’t think that should stop you from buying. However, it does make me wonder if this issue will continue to get worse and worse over time and if the laptop will die on me in a 2-3 years.

For reference I got 16gb RAM, RTX 3060, i7-12650h.
