Stupid company cant even get the description correct. Bought this becuase it was touch screen and supposedly backlit.

Its powerful enough for typical Chromebook tasks. Build quality is good. The screen is the worst Ive ever encountered on any device. Every little movement of your head makes the colors change. There no contrast, whatsoever.

Very nice little notebook for the price. Lightweight, small but with adequate screen size. Screen quality is crystal clear and vivid colors. Processer seems plenty fast enough for the applications I use. Very pleased with purchase so far.

This little laptop is a great value. Really fast SSD hard drive loads programs and pages really fast. This is a great laptop for my use.

I knew in purchasing the laptop Id need to make immediate upgrades. I didnt need the best processor as all my work is done online, but do open multiple taps and email all day long. I added 8 gb RAM and 500 gb SSD, which should be plenty for me, so overall $80 in upgrades that add to the cost of the laptop. Still cheaper than a stronger processor laptop that Id pay $100+ more for and still end up upgrading memory and storage. Boot time is lightning fast and so far everything responds as it should during work. Upgrading was super easy. There is a space for an extra hard drive, but no connector or caddy so those will have to be purchased separately, adding on another $20 to the cost. If you have a hard time finding the right connector and caddy to fit, I purchased the https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PDZ4DGF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which ended up fitting fine but the screws are loose holding the drive to the caddy and it is only friction holding it in place in the empty hard drive slot. It is a good tight fit so it is fine for my use, which is mostly work at home, very rarely taking my laptop out of the home to work away. Overall I spent around $450 for a decent processor and plenty of memory and storage.

Besides it being advertised with a backlit keyboard its great computer everything checks out otherwise and have had no problems.. Went though 3 replacements just to be sent the same wrong color and no backlit keyboard all 3 times even though I actually like the grey color better than the all black.. Amazon compensated me for the difference so decided to just settle since I truly needed it for work and couldnt wait any longer.. Would advise buying directly from a store in person but sometimes you dont have many options and this is by far not the worst route.. No issues with the screen as so many reviews mention and had pretty decent FOV.. Other than the mishap several times this computer would of got a 5 star review which I dont think it was asus fault.. Definitely be weary which company you buy from because alot are remanufactured or have the wrong hardware that do not match the specs fortunately this was did.. Arrived ahead of schedule each time and not in only the manufacturers packing.. Great buy as long as you dont need a backlit keyboard which I truly dont but is a great feature to have especially when for the same money many other companies offer touchscreen and backlit.. Overall not super upset having to settle because the laptop is performing better than expected..

Love it! I bought it to work from home beside the reviews were good. I’m not computer savvy but it handles my work from home program well. I’m able to plug my headset, an regular keyboard and a second screen onto it. I found that I can work on it w/ multiple programs running from 7am-11am without the charger; so a good 4 hours of battery life... one day I let it go past 11 am and ran out of battery right in the middle or working. I ran and plugged it in and got it back up and running; no biggie.

Whether at work or play, ASUS VivoBook 15 is the compact laptop that immerses you in whatever you set out to do. Its new frameless four-sided NanoEdge display boasts an ultraslim 5.7mm bezel, giving an amazing 88% screen-to-body ratio for supremely immersive visuals. The ErgoLift hinge design also tilts the keyboard up for more comfortable typing. VivoBook 15 is powered by an Intel core i3 processor to help you get things done with the least amount of fuss. The actual transfer speed of USB 3.0, 3.1 (Gen 1 and 2), and/or Type-C will vary depending on many factors including the processing speed of the host device, file attributes and other factors related to system configuration and your operating environment.
