> 3 dayThis, along with the new thermostat I bought, was an easy way to clean up and restore my old water heater. Works great. Only problem is it did not come with the cap for the connection where I plug into the circuit board, which is not possible to take off the old one without destroying it. But other than that, it works great

> 3 dayOur Atwood GC6AA-10E water heater would go through 6 to 8 start ups, where it would spark, light and burn for 2 seconds and go out. Then after that it would start and work. But it would fail again. after overnight cooling off. Guessed that there was no milliamp voltage from electrode. being fed back to control board to keep the gas on after lighting. This new electrode seems to have solved the problem. Starts like a champ now. Lucked out it was not the board.

> 3 dayThe screw and hole were different sizes. I had to find a substitute. Other than that, it worked as expected.

> 3 dayThe original screw hole on my Dometic/Atwood Model# GC6AA-10E is not the same size as this replacement so I had to drill it out and then just ended up replacing it with a washer, but, and screw. Original screw was just a worthless sheet metal screw that barely held it in anyway.
