Used them for a custom bmx bike roof mount. One grabs the roof rack tube and one grabs the peg. with a linkage between them, they are solid as could be. Even with a single finger screw to clamp.

These are good mounting brackets. They provide plenty of mounting options. I have these on a 2022 Road Glide. They dont stick out like a sore thumb and actually look decent. These come with different size rubber inserts to accommodate different diameter tubing or frames.
