I have been using a $10 cable...until now, with my Bluesound Node streamer. Those cables aint bad, but they can only go so far. This is my first premium cable and yes, cables matter. Something I learnt. It was worth it.

Great cable for the money. Sounds great! AudioQuest rules.

Another excellent product from audioquest, my whole system has gone from wireworld, cardas, and/or Kimber to all audioquest. While the other stuff is okay all of the audioquest stuff especially the silver plated stuff makes a noticable difference, Im not saying some huge difference but there is something to it. The improvements Ive noticed going from other good stuff to audioquest is lower noise floor and improved clarity, no cables do not change the tone of your system unless it is doing something intentionally wrong. A cable should just transmit as much of the signal as possible not alter it, I think this is where audioquest has it right, solid copper that is well shielded and really good connectors. It seems audioquest makes those things a priority instead of fancy braids and geometries and buzz words like OCC copper. I do prefer audioquests silver plated stuff but there digital cables get to expensive to quickly with silver plating but Im on the look out for a used carbon coaxial cable but for now the cinnamon will have to do lol. I have audioquest rocket 33 speaker cables, diamondback, black mamba ll, and Sydney RCAs that are upgrades from red rivers and golden gates, I also have some power cables nrg-2 (x2) and nrg-x (x2) and this coaxial cable so I have heard a good amount of there lower to mid level stuff and coming from more expensive stuff from other brands I can only highly recommend audioquest stuff. Hope this helps some who are trying to sift through conflicting info out there on cables, the thing to keep in mind is the only differences you can expect are slight improvement in noise floor and clarity, do not expect to accentuate the mid range or bass because its not going to happen anywhere but in your head. One more thing, your speakers and components are more important than spending on cables so get that all sorted first and then start upgrading your cables, if you are having an issue and need a cable to be shielded just upgrade that one cable until you have the rest of your components and speakers sorted.

    Greater than one week

This Audioquest cable presents with a lower quality soundstage, less accurate timing and slightly less precise imaging than the $12 C2G 29114 Velocity S/PDIF Digital Audio Coax Cable, Blue (3 Feet, 0.91 Meters - a Verified Purchase if you follow my reviews) that I also purchased from Amazon.

How much this cable will make in YOUR system, only you can determine. Im using this on a pretty high-end system and the positive results were immediate and substantial.

For all those who think cables wont make any difference, I wish it was so, so I dont have to spend a lot of money on them. But, they do. Bigtime. On a audiophile system, anyways. Swapped Mediabridge Ultra with AQ Cinnamon coax, from Gustard U12 XMOS to Teac UD-501 (than Colorado XLRs) to Teac HA-501, and voila: Brand new sound, and I will elaborate: Bass is deeper, more controlled, mids are silkier, highs lost the hiss and nasal harshnes when Gloria goes for rough r, big difference.

I feel that the Audioquest analog interconnects are a good cable, but there are better out there. However, the digital cables, such as this coaxial digital interconnect, work well and havent failed me yet. I use this one between the digital output of the Sweet Vinyl SugarCube and PS Audio DirectStream DAC, and it works perfectly, giving me a solid 24-bit/192kHz digital signal. And red is my favorite color, so...there is that. ;o)
