We purchased this for a circular tree swing. The swivel that came with it was heavy duty but had too much friction. The rope twisted...not the swivel. This replacement swivel is totally friction free! The swing hangs from one rope and the rope no longer twists as it did with the original swivel.

We use it for an adult swing on the back patio and everyone starts out nervous, after reassuring all who try, we can’t seem to get them off of it. Installation was very simple.

we were replacing a Kangoo spinner that was used for years. this one started to wear in a few days of our 60 lb ten-year-old spinning with it. also spinning motion was not smooth when starting to spin.

Love this item. We built our own tree swing and it spins the kids and is very sturdy. We bought chain from the hardware store that could hold 800 lbs and it does fine. The carabiners are heavy duty. Kids having a ball being able to spin while swinging.

I purchased this swivel for use with a swing that I made for my grand-kids. I was concerned about their safety, but after an easy installation and trying it out myself I was convinced that I had made the right choice. This is a solid product and works exceptionally well. I would purchase this again in a second.

The perfect device for my swing!

I was hesitant to buy this because of the price. I thought surely thered be something at the hardware store that would work just as well for less money. I was wrong. This swivel goes above and beyond anything else weve tried. My twin boys have autism and we use this for their therapy swing in our playroom. Theyre about 80lbs each at this point and any time one of them swings or spins this swivel moves smoothly and silently. Theyre loving it. Glad I spent the money.

The swivel is great (6 stars) and so much better than anything else Ive tried. So smooth and unchanged after 6 months outdoors. The carabiners are not up to the same standards (2 stars). Theyre strong and will hold you up, but they started rusting almost immediately and the end of the clip that opens is prone to catching on any strap youre inserting.

I wanted to replace a baby swing for my daughter with a swing I saw at a local park. I loved the swing but did not buy this product first and attempted to find items at my local hardware store. They had nothing that was rated for holding people. So, I came back to Amazon to find this product. I rigged something up as a temporary solution until this product arrived. My daughter loved to spin in her new swing. (The swing which I also recommend is the 40 diameter Swing by Swing Monkey.) After I put this device on the first thing she wanted me to do was spin her. I gave the swing a little push and it began to spin so smoothly and it kept going, and going, and going. I am not sure it was ever going to stop. My daughter finally put her foot down to stop herself. It was amazing. I recommend that if you buy a round swing that this product be added to it.
