Do not buy. The focusing is terrible. Takes forever to focus. Interface is also trash. No way to get back to main settings page

I purchased this projector to replace TV to save space. I was first worried about the quality of the video and the built in sound system. However, I am more than satisfied. The quality of the video is great and the way you can control the angle really helps setup the view. I really liked the fact that you can also watch youtube, netflix, but also mirroring from your computer and phone. I would definitely recommend this to friends, family, and whoever that is looking to buy a project!

Before flat-screen TVs were widely available, I put together a home projection system. The projector was expensive and huge, and I had to add a separate sound system. This relatively small projector does everything my old system did and more but in a much smaller package. This unit isnt a micro-projector, but it isnt super large. It is mountable in various ways, including a ceiling mount (mount not supplied). This device has a little module that you install (easily) that is an Android-operated computer. It turns the projector into a smart projector, similar to a smart TV. You can download various apps to the module, including those from streaming services. Being a smart device, I didnt run into any DRM copy protection issues when we streamed. That was an issue with my old projector, which couldnt play content because it was copy-protected. The setup was easy. Last night we watched a movie on Netflix which we projected in our family room. We currently have an older flat-screen TV that is (I think) around 45. It is plenty big for the room. However, when we viewed a movie using the projector, the image was huge, and it felt like we were at the movies. It was so much fun. Because of the Android module, I didnt have to connect a computer to the projector; everything is built in. The unit has a built-in speaker, which was also a surprise. My old projectors speaker was so anemic that it was necessary to use a separate sound system. That was not the case with this unit, as the speaker was loud and clear. How did it sound? Similar to a table radio. In other words, perfectly adequate but not like a 1000-dollar sound system. It was all that I needed. Here are some specific features: It uses LEDs instead of a bulb, which is much cooler in temperature than other projectors. LEDs will last a lot longer than bulbs. It has a brightness of 700 ANSI. It is watchable in a dim room and great in a dark room. The remote is nice and designed for home entertainment. The picture was very good and sharp when projected quite large. It connects via WiFi for its streaming connection. It has Bluetooth if you want to use an external Bluetooth speaker. There are a variety of physical connections, including audio out, HDMI, and USB. You could connect a Roku or Prime stick to it if you wish. However, the built-in Android module should be sufficient. Google Assistant is built into the remote. It will automatically focus, so you dont have to. It has some keystone correction ability. You can use it to rear project or project from the ceiling as you can manipulate the image (such as inverting it). This projectors size will allow us to take it out of a drawer and watch big screen on home movie nights. Bring on the popcorn!

This is an upgrade from my old projector. I got it primarily to use outdoors for family movie nights. I still need to purchase a stand for it, but it can be ceiling mounted for year round indoor use. So far, I really like it. I like almost everything about it, but I have a few things that I dont. Here is a list of my pros and cons. *PROS Can be used both day and night. Obviously, the picture is much clearer at night, but I was surprised by how well it looked in the middle of the day with full sun. The images were still clear, not as great as an actual television, but good. Android TV! It took a minute to pair the remote, then set up and connect using my phone. Once I did, I could install, log in, and connect to all my streaming apps through the remote. You can also use Google Assistant with Android TV only. Hit the speak button on the remote to give a voice command. You can say things like Hey Google, open Netflix. It is convenient at times, but doesnt always work right. Options!! There isnt really anything that you cant connect to this projector. The back of the projector has slots for AV, 3.5mm audio, HDMI, and USB connections. This allows you to use whatever you desire to watch programming on. Settings! You can customize your preferences in the settings. (Picture Settings)You can scale the size to fit your screen, calibrate it, turn on manual focus, change the color temperature and color range, change the aspect ratio, and change how the screen is projected in mirror mode. (Sound Settings) Sound mode allows you to adjust the sound to the type of programming. For example, sports, movies, music, etc. Then, you can change the balance with the left and right arrows on the remote. Then there is a surround sound option for supported devices. *CONS Bluetooth only works with Android TV. This is a little disappointing. I was hoping to connect my speaker through Bluetooth, but it isnt an option. I would have liked to be able to connect my phone as well through Bluetooth. Its just a minor inconvenience, though. Auto focus! The slightest movement has it trying to auto focus. Its slightly annoying, but also good. Fortunately, you can turn it off in the settings and resort to manual focus. In summary, it offers some nice features. Im not the most tech savvy, but this projector does a fine job for the asking price.

Good: The picture quality is great! Nice and bright. Sound quality is also good, both through the internal speakers (good for casual tv) and via Bluetooth to either speakers or headphones. Less good: Requires a google account or it won’t stop playing elevator music, and doesn’t tell you that. You can get it to log into amazon/Netflix and start watching movies without logging into a google account, but it will overlay elevator music on everything. Nowhere in the documentation does it say how to get rid of the music. I finally (on a whim) set up a throw away gmail account just for the projector (they are free after all) and the music went away after I logged in. The auto focus hasn’t worked. It hunts around then stops with it blurry. Manually adjusting takes a bit of hunting back and forth too, it is push button and does t always stop where you want it too. I would have preferred a manual focus ring like on a camera. Overall, now that it’s set up, in focus, and not playing random elevator music, I’m very happy with the projector.

This is a big projector and the image is very bright. It comes with an Android TV device called HAKO which uniquely sits inside the projector housing. The projector remote easily pairs with the HAKO device plus the HAKO device also has its own remote. I was not able to pair my Ecoxgear SoundExtreme sound bar to the HAKO device. I remember having issues doing so with a TIVO Stream4k which also uses Android TV so this is not necessarily a negative for the projector. The autofocus is a nice feature, but becomes annoying if there is a breeze that distorts the screen at all as it doesnt just autofocus, it displays a target with which it adjusts the focus against. I believe this can be turned off. The reason for the four-star review is mainly due to the projector remote not easily controlling the projector and Android TV. The remote connection is via Bluetooth, but it seems like the signal wasnt always received by the projector (which is positioned less than 3 feet above my head). Sometimes the remote responded better when I pointed directly at the projector. Also, I am a bit confused by the claim of 4k support. Does it accept 4k signals and downgrade them to 1080p? or does the projector output 4k when the signal is 4k? Difficult to tell from the product description. Finally, at a price tag of $270 this projector costs almost two-and-a-half times as much as my previous projector (that came with a screen), granted that projector doesnt autofocus, didnt come with an Android TV device and isnt quite as bright as this one.

Great projector! High-quality image, smart TV have good opportunities and easy access to the internet. Auto focus does its job when it needs to. The sound is sufficient , and there are a lot of wires in the kit to connect additional devices
