I use these regularly as a firefighter to take glass. We have ALL seen people beating on windows trying to get patients out of vehicles but 1 push against a window will immediately break the glass with the slight of ease! I keep 1 in my truck and use my other for the actual use of the tool!

I love how easy it is to you but I have to admit I’m new to wood working and not familiar with a lot of the tools and how there used so I was confused at first I misunderstood how it was explained. As soon as I figured it out things worked great !!!

One of the two had broken spring and didn’t work the other makes punch marks if you press same spot several times not very strong I use these for flywheels and pressure plates to mark the balance point I’ve made them work but won’t buy again and wouldn’t recommend

Starting a large bit on an awkward piece of metal. I’m down the function of one hand, contributing to the difficulty. One of the few things not in the box handed down was the brass center punch. Mid-project, cruise Amazon and here we are.

Could not get the same force every time on either of the punches - sent them back.

I have to keep tightening them up because the body tends to unscrew and loosen up.

I can’t believe how many times I picked one of these up and have it fail to work properly before I finally gave up. Today is the day. A good automatic centerpunch is a huge help to ensure accurate screw and drill hole placement. This is not a good centerpunch. It only snaps about 1of of every 6-7 pushes. It also requires that you remove it completely from the surface to reset making you have to carefully reposition it. I typical give up and pick up my awl. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more bucks for a tool that works more consistently.

Well it is accurate. As far as adjustable, I didn’t notice anything when I adjusted it all the way to its full extent in either direction.
