Greater than one weekThis moisturizing cream contains 1% colloidal oatmeal plus oat kernel oil and and extract along with other helpful ingredients to alleviate and protect dry, irritated, itchy skin. It is beige and thick but easy to apply, more like a thick lotion than a cream. It is moderately moisturizing and has the natural, sweet fragrance of oats. Its very soothing and is good not just for babies, but for almost anyone. It can even help ease the discomfort from a mild sunburn. The plastic bottle holds 12 fl. oz. or 354 ml and has a flip cap with a squeeze dispenser. The cap was shrinkwrapped to keep the lid from opening but not far enough down to keep the cap from being removed from the bottle and there is no safety seal inside. I would think J&J would be on top of that after all those deaths from poisoned Tylenol back in the 1980s, but I guess there isnt as much concern with topical lotions.

While it’s well monitored now, she gets very itchy while she’s sleeping and often wakes up crying and itching. I lather this on and she’s back to sleep immediately!! THANK YOU AVEENO.

> 3 dayThe image is misleading and doesnt include the pump allowing one to use the lotion with one hand while handling a baby. Otherwise- this lotion works well and the lotion smell fades after application.
