I should have listened to the people who recommended this item when our son was teething with is first teeth. Weve been using a normal, baby toothbrush for months, but he really hates it when I brush his teeth. Our son is OBSESSED with bananas. He loves this toothbrush. The only issue is that he has nearly 8 teeth and the brush really isnt meant for teeth, but more for gums. However, to get him to enjoy brushing more we are using this brush more often than the toddler brush until he stops throwing a fit when we brush is teeth. Recommendation: Purchase this item when your baby is just starting to teeth (ours started around 2 months, but got his first teeth at 4 months). Let the baby play with the brush and learn to brush her/his teeth for a few months. It will make the transition MUCH easier. Good luck!

Nice soft silicone, my 6 mos old loves chewing on this. Seems most of the teething toys are much harder plastic & he isnt interested in them. Washes up easily & you can attach a strap thru the tail so it doesnt fall on the floor.

My granddaughter loved it!! Is very soft and clean the little teeth pretty good!

This thing is awesome!! My daughter loves to play with it. It provides awesome stimulation for building those skills needed to move from a Baby Bottle to solid foods. Wish I had one when my other 2 children were infants. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS!!

We began to use this on our son when he got his first tooth. I would brush his tooth and then gums with just water twice a day. This definitely helped with introducing toothbrushing to our son as well as kept his mouth clean. This was gentle on his gums. We continued to use until he was about 12 months old and we switched to a regular toothbrush and toothpaste. I have a 5 month old who is now teething and I will be buying a new one to brush his new tooth once it pops through! UPDATE- Just bought our third one of these for our new baby because we love this toothbrush so much. It is perfect for introducing brushing
