I took this on a 7 day cruise with my family of 4. Worked really well! No one burned even in the sun for hours (reapplied often) on a 2hr RT boat ride without cover, pools, snorkeling, beaches, etc. Very easy to apply and spread. Most important - this is *truly* reef safe! Please please please do your research on reef safe sunscreen before going in the ocean. Even the pools on the cruise ships empty back into the ocean. Most sunblocks are extremely damaging to reefs even in tiny amounts, including most Sun Bum products (even if they say reef safe - check the ingredients against a google search - they are better than most but not 100% safe). This particular product is truly safe though! And it works great! I highly recommend.

I was a bit disappointed with this product. I bought it for myself funnily enough to protect my tattoos from the sun. I wanted to use something more natural since they are still newish and I want them to stay looking good. Since I always have it on me I also use it on my face. That is such a bad idea! As soon as I start to sweat it runs into my eyes and it BURNS! I end up rubbing my eyes the entire time and looking like I stuck my head in a bucket of pollen. I was surprised being as it’s for babies I thought it would not be irritating. I’ve done this several times now (stupid me) so I know it’s not a one off chance. I will still use the bottles I have for my tattoos but no where near my face.

This sunscreen does a great job of protecting my little one’s skin. However, it is very greasy and has a pretty strong sunscreen smell. Her car seat smells faintly of sunscreen now and I have found various grease smears on things I have touched after I’ve applied this to my baby. Overall, it does what it is intended to and my baby has not gotten sunburned while using this.

Not the easiest sunscreen to use. Its very thick and hard to spread evenly. I also agree with other reviewers who talk about the cinnamon scent. Its supposed to be scent-free, but it smells quite heavily of cinnamon. I actually dont mind it, surprisingly, but I only wear it on my arms (I wear the Sun Bum face sunscreen for face/neck/chest). I think I definitely prefer the face version.

Ive yet to find the perfect mineral based sunscreen, but this one is pretty darn close. Not as greasy as most nor does it leave me looking like a ghost once it has been rubbed in. Yes, there is a slight whitish cast to it, but I dont know how to avoid that unless you add coloring to it and who wants that. Overall, Ive found mineral based sunscreens to be slightly less effective when compared to chemical sunscreens. Thats a trade off Im willing to accept to keep skin irritations at bay.

I was really pleased with this sunscreen. As a half-Filipino, half-caucasian, I have never really worried about a specific sunscreen for my son who inherited my skin until I had my daughter who inherited none of my physical Asian attributes. She came out a blue-eyed, sensitive-skinned, red head with eczema. I had NO CLUE what to do with this! After reading reviews and asking advice on a FB group, I landed on this choice. I was happy I choose this one!! Pros 1. Spreads well and isnt super thick. 2. Smells better than most sunscreens 3. Did its job of protecting really well 4. Lasted a good 3 hours of playing in the sand without needing to reapply 5. Didnt irritate her skin at all Cons 1. The tube could be bigger. Lol ;-) Great product and no complaints. I love their face 50 and their regular body, but need the fragrance free. But this is much more pasty than their other sunscreens. Still works well and does not irritate my skin, but a bit thick.
