Greater than one weekI got this item to entertain my toddler on a cross-country flight. It entertained her for about 20-30 minutes at a time. She especially enjoyed pushing the buttons down on the side. I think this toy would be ideal for babies 6 months to 2 years.

> 3 dayI’m always looking for toys that will keep my young grandchildren interested and occupied with learning things. I was recently somewhere with my two-year-old grandchild and noticed her playing with a toy much like this “Octopus” Montessori toy from Dixutzi and sold by Lizardon. Pulling and pushing and spinning brought fun all around. I was surprised because I thought that the toy would have been interesting only to a younger child, but I was wrong. So, when I got home, I ordered this. The day it came was the same day that she and her parents came over for dinner. I pulled out the toy and showed it to her and she immediately plopped down and started playing with it. She enjoyed pulling the legs through from one side to the other, but he was a bit puzzled with the round “poppers” that you can push the dome part from one side to the other. At first she didn’t push hard enough to make them pop, and she didn’t think much of them. But then one time she pushed hard enough and you could see something “click” in her mind, and she pushed them hard enough each time, turning the octopus over and pushing them back again. I don’t think she spent five minutes playing with this before she was distracted to something else, but I know it’s a toy she (and my other grandchildren) will revisit. It’s sturdy and I strongly suspect that it will outlast their childhoods. Thanks!

> 3 dayMy grandson (age 18 months) thinks this is the best car toy ever. He loves pulling the different ropes with their various textures and haptic feedback. I thought the buttons might be too difficult, but he goes right for them. Would would have thought such a relatively simple toy would keep his attention so long. It is much better than his playing with the tablet. The plastic housing is smooth. It has bright colors. I havent done it yet, but I suspect it could be washed in the dishwasher.

> 3 dayI picked this up for my 7 month old who is teething like crazy. I wanted to find some sort of toy with something string-like that was safe for her to chew. She loves any kind of string, especially ones on my hoodies. So I thought Id try to find a teether that was sort of stringy. And this thing fits the bill. She loves it. Its cute. Its sturdy. Highly recommended.
