First off, I love that its solid [read: heavy duty] white plastic with simple black trim. My first is a 2 1/2 girl and we are expecting a boy in August so I will not have to go out and buy another potty (my mother-in-law will probably have to replace her Disney Princess one though). May appear boring to some who want to make potty training fun for their little ones but I personally like the neutrality and the fact that it blends so effortlessly into our mostly white bathroom. And my daughter seems to like it regardless. Secondly, I like that the insert is easily removed for emptying, can fit in the dishwasher for easy cleaning/sanitizing and has a bit of a lip to it for little boys when sitting. I only wish the potty itself didnt have a lip around the bottom because it collects dirt/dust/etc... and that has to be wiped regularly but its not a big deal since the potty is small. Its sturdy, comfortable, looks a lot like a grown up potty which has been a help for us in training our daughter. Some other pottys have a fold down lid so the potty can be used as a step-stool and that seems like a neat feature that the Bjorn does not have, but I just bought the matching Bjorn step-stool and it works very well. Might actually be better to have them separate- we transition from potty to the sink to wash our hands without having to move anything. Plus the Bjorn step has very good rubber tread on it and a wide enough surface that I have no anxiety about my kids slipping. I also bought the travel potty seat to place on a regular toilet and although we havent used it as much, I have the same compliments. Bought all three a year ago before we started potty training and although were still not seriously committed, our family really likes these products and they are working well for us. I highly recommend them! Amazon delivered all three quickly and with no damage to any of the products either. Price wasnt bad for what I expected of the Bjorn brand- only recently saw the same potty selling at Sears for $16 on clearance.

This product was delivered much faster than I expected. It looks beautiful and since it is white it doesnt make my bathroom look like baby central. There are only two pieces which makes it easy to clean up and it is very sturdy. Great product!

I am using it to train my grandson.. He is big for his age and the chair would be better for him if it was a little bit larger but other than that it is fine.

We started sitting my son on this potty at 4.5 months old (when he was able to sit on his own) to get him used to the potty early. This seat is very supportive & has worked very well for us. It is a little big, but we still bring it down when my mom watches him. We set him on it after taking off his dirty diaper & he started using it mot of the time when he was 5.5 months old. Our son is 13 months now, and uses the potty well by tell us with sign language when he needs to go. The tray comes off very easily & is easy to rinse in the sink. The potty is also easy to keep clean by wiping down.

This is the best potty for training kids! I am on my second child with this same one and it is easy to clean & both my kids have no problem sitting down on it themselves! They can sit on it for long periods of time without getting uncomfortable. I bought it because both of my kids were potty trained starting at 14 months & I wanted one that they could independently sit on and use- which they did! It is light weight but durable! It has held up over 2 years & 2 kids and I would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a potty training chair!

This chair made all the difference in potty training our reluctant, almost three year old. After months of minimal success with one of the seats that attaches to the regular toilet I decided to believe the reviews and ordered the Bjorn. Literally the very first day I knew we had made the right choice. He was totally in to sitting and emptying the chair (with a bit of help) himself and there was no more resistance to going potty. I am SO glad I purchased this chair...it has made all the diffence and diapers are now gone from our lives :)

Perfect for my tall 4yr old special needs son who is just starting to potty train!

I tried to love this product. I wasnt willing to admit that it wasnt working for us, given that I spent quite a bit of money on it. But, eventually, I had to come to terms with my distaste for this purchase. What I dont like: the potty sticks to the tushies of my little ones as they get up and walk away. This inevitably results in a few splashes (best case) or a total dumping of the contents (worse case). Also, my kids each complained that this potty is uncomfortable. Each of my children ended up preferring the Fisher Price Froggy Potty, which is a fraction of the price, much more comfortable, and far less likely to spill due to sticking to a childs rear end.

Weve had this potty for our son, and will soon be using it for our daughter - its still in perfect condition, works great, its small and portable if you need to take it with you anywhere. It is extremely easy to clean - all smooth surfaces that are very easy to wash/wipe, no nooks and crannies where germs can hide.

Bought this for my visiting grandchildren, but they potty trained so fast that we didnt need it. Thats a good thing.
