> 3 dayWe bought this for our son who is our third child as one of the potties used by his older sisters doesnt have the little bump in the front to prevent pee from shooting out. It serves its purpose on that front. That said, we have a different version of this that is a little bigger with taller sides. This works fine but I think the other one is more comfortable for a kid who may be sitting there for a while while potty training (trying to figure how to get it all to work). Also, while you could travel with this there are better foldable travel potties if you are purchasing for the sole purpose of using it while on the road. We keep one of those under the passenger seat in our minivan and have gotten our moneys worth out of that thing.

> 3 dayWe potty trained starting three months ago with the IKEA potty chair and it’s going great. Bought this to have at grandma’s house and my son urinated all over the floor for the first time because as he was sitting on it and peeing full stream the pee went up the sides and over the rim. I think it’s just too small and the shield is too low. He is 2 yo, 37” and 32lbs.

> 3 dayPerfect simple, all purpose potty seat. Works well on the go. Is simple for child to dump pee out himself. Is low enough to create a bit of a squat position to help with pooping. Front is high enough to help a bit with boy splatter (but you should still teach him to hold his penis down when sitting to pee). Easy to clean. And stays put when child is trying to sit down or get up. Great rubber grips along bottom edge. Wish I hadnt wasted my money on any other seats.

> 3 dayWhen it arrived I wasnt sure I was going to like it because it was soooooo light weight. Now that weve used it several days that is one of the things I love about it. I can pick it up and move from room to room so he can potty when the urge hits him. This potty is sooooo easy to clean, no nooks or crannies for urine to get into. its also light weight we will be taking it when we leave the house.

> 3 dayIve used this for communication training with my kiddos, and it fit them well when they were small. My 6mo can sit on it and have their feet touch the ground, and I used it with my older child from 12-18m. Now that hes 2 (and tall for 2) it doesnt fit him as well, but hes using a toddler insert/toddler toilet seat now so it doesnt matter. I loved it so much I bought two for convenience

> 3 dayMy granddaughter has several potty seats and this one is by far her favorite! It is comfortable for her to sit on and is very portable. It’s easy to clean as well. She never has accidents because she likes using it anywhere! I definitely recommend this potty over all of the others!

> 3 dayI do daycare, and pottys with back the children lean on and pee over the seat. (even girls) this potty they are in a squatting position the cup on the front is one of the higher ones to stop splashing out. the rim is over the seat, so you dont get pee under it. my favorite so far. fancy seat are for parents not kids

> 3 dayUnless your little boy already knows to point himself straight down…not likely early on in the potty training journey… pee will go everywhere at seemingly random times. The “hump” on the front is a vertical wall that is flush with the front wall of the bowl. This would be FAR more effective if it was past-vertical, or “cut back” toward the front frame to allow pee to be directed down, instead of up, out and everywhere. It’s good for a rest stop poop on a road trip though! And I’m sure it will be fine for our daughter when she’s ready.
