Babys My First Photo Album of Family & Friends

I love these little photo albums; they are my standard baby gift. My grandchildren spent many loving hours with theirs.

I wanted to put together a little photo album of far away family for my 6 month old. I thought about making my own board book, but I wanted it to stand up to his drool and teething and also to be able to change the pictures as cousins grew older and families grew bigger. This album will definitely stand up to the baby, but the plastic pages seem a bit cheap and are not completely clear. Still, I think it will work great for the baby.

I love these baby albums! We have one and Ive bought several as gifts. Its such an age appropriate, hands on way for little ones to stay close to relatives who are far away. We just went on vacation to visit some distant relatives for the first time. I put the relatives pictures in the book so my toddler wouldnt freak out or feel like he had to be shy, and my preschooler got to learn all their names!

Really like this picture book for our grandson. The only thing is being that the outside front n back covers are made of material, it will most likely get dirty n dingy fast opposed to being plastic that can be wiped clean. However, this does lend to the overall quality of the book.

This is a great product for toddlers. We have a lot of family that lives out of state so we put their pictures in this book so my daughter would still recognize them. The photos stay in the slots because the pages are slightly tacky but it doesnt leave a residue on the photos when removed. The pictures can be handled easily without being torn or crumpled. There is a slight glare on the pages when viewed from certain angles but it doesnt detract from its usefulness.

Ive gifted this a couple times and received rave reviews. Such a cute idea to put photos of little ones family and friends in. Introduces those who may live far away to a little one. Theres a mirror in the back so they can see their own sweet face! Highly recommend.

Bought this as a birthday present for my 1 yr old who LOVES to look at pictures of the family. Its by far the best baby picture book Ive seen. Lots of picture slots allowed me to put photos of both sets of Grandparents, 3 sets of great-grandparents, aunts & uncles, a family picture and even the family dog. My son LOVES it and looks at the pictures daily. I agree with others that the outside cover is kind of cheezy but my son doesnt seem to care and the quality has held up against him carrying it all around with him so Im happy. Also agree that the mirror at the back is not truly a mirror but rather just a reflective piece of material - but again, it doesnt seem to bother my son so I dont care. Forget the negative reveiws. If you want an album that can be enjoyed by your little one and holds lots of pictures - get this one!

Pros - cute - lots of slots for photos - slobber/tear proof Cons - the plastic is very shiny and glares easily. Would be better if the plastic was a bit more matte (I also own the Sassy Look Photo Book and it has matte plastic pages, so you can see the photos from any angle, however, there are only slots for 7 pictures, which wasnt enough for us) - plastic smell (similar to any plastic inflatable pool toy/raft), but I dont find it overwhelming, hoping it fades in time Overall - I recommend it! - I used a photo collage app and was able to print multiple photos on each 4x6 allowing for even more pictures - I like it

This babys first photo item was purchased as a 1st Christmas present for my 9 month old grandson. He loves it that he can hold it himself and look at the pictures. It will also be a good learning tool to teach him who everyone is. I did laminate each picture before putting in the book, because some of the other reviews stated the pictures would stick to the plastic. Being laminated should keep the picture from rubbing off on the plastic. Very glad I purchased. Great product.

This photo book is perfect for allowing a young child to bring photos of the most important people/animals with when visiting or going to daycare, and is able for a two year old to turn the pages. There were just the right amount of picture slots to cover all the people and pets in our family.
