Bag Balm Vermonts Original for Dry Chapped Skin Conditions - Hand & Body (4 Ounce (Pack of 3))

This is not like the “original” bag bomb which was medicated, antiseptic and very aromatic. It was meant for healing. This product is not even close!

I have use Bag Balm for more than 40 years. It was brought to my attention by my sister-in-law, who was a farmer and had super dry skin until she started using Bag Balm, which was a healing salve that they used on the cows utters. When applying the salve, she noticed her dry hands improved. She started using it for herself and recommended it to me.

I love the result on my hands and feet. I have been told it smells like a barn and I must agree. It is not sheer, but it I apply before bed, (he uses it too) the results are 5 Star plus!

I have used/purchased this for the first time like 10 years ago. It was recommended by a coworker. I have always had a rough heel if I do not get regular pedicures. After I used it up I was unable to find it again in stores. So when Amazon came along I thought about it and purchased the 8 oz size. I larger my feet and ankles with it after I shower and wear socks at night. The next day I immediately start to feel the results of softer feet. The dead skin even easily peeled off. When I get a pedicure I use it that night as stated and as often as I can remember to do it and my feet remains soft for good (still occasionally getting pedicures mainly for my own self care). It works well on my chapped lips as well. I would have rated this product a 5 but as others have reviewed the smell is unpleasant. To me it smells like moth balls. If you know that smell it is very strong. That’s why I mainly use it at night or if I’m planning to hangout at home or alone. Also, I first bought this in 10 oz size years ago. The largest I found on here was 8 oz. Using it every night does not make it last long. However I do and I have recommended this product. I have also started using it on my 6 year old daughter as she has very dry skin. Again, only after her baths at night due to the smell. Enjoy!

Product is effective, but the individual containers and quantity are smaller than they appear.

I highly recommend this product over other leading brands. It is more affordable and works way better for my Psoriasis. Doesnt cure you but will make your skin way more comfortable and it is very thick and moisturizing. It is better then all others, and Ive tried all the store brands. Smell is slightly different but not bad.

I use it for very dry skin, mostly on my hands. It soaks in slowly, so I put something over my hands until it soaks in. I use it on my feet and put it on my feet and wear socks while I am sleeping.

i’m in love with this stuff!! it’s so moisturizing. i actually use it as a lip balm and it has made my lips baby soft. i bought this product because madelyn cline from outer banks uses it and said that she puts it on at night and in the morning all the dead skin on her lips has fallen off which is the same for me. the smell takes some getting used to but i like it honestly.

My dog’s nose got so dry that it split open and I had to go to the vet. He was prescribed a cream that I used for about 2 months that helped a little, but it still wouldn’t get his nose to heal all the way. I ran out of the prescription cream and it was pretty expensive and seemed to be stagnant in results, so I tried this Bag Balm and his nose healed within 2 weeks. Now anytime his nose gets dry I reapply. I give him a toy right after to mitigate him licking it all off.
