I generally purchase about three (3) of these 4.5 lb. containers annually. I use these to lotion my feet and legs after showering ; also use this on my Mom to lotion her feet and legs. Her doctor is AMAZED at how good her skin looks for a person in her late 80s. I came onto BagBalm® after seeing my uncle use this in the 1960s on his animals (cows) and his hands that stayed generally chap free. Use it as a lip balm. Been using it for 50+ years. Absolutely fantastic. Some might consider it greasy but I look at it from the standpoint of WHAT it does (at least for me).

I’ve been a dedicated user of Bag Balm for decades. The manufacturer has seen fit to tamper with the original formulation adding less Lanolin…. Hardly any. This was the most expensive tub of Vaseline I’ve ever purchased! My love affair with Bag Balm is at an end! Goodbye old friend!

This is not as good as the original, it is lighter in color and not as thick and seems to disappear much quicker. The old version seemed to work better, but this one still works well. Some may like the thinness of this balm.

Exactly what I wanted still using it after 3 years and it’s not even close to being finished!

Stuff is the best for dry skin and burns.

First off, Bag Balm is awesome! I have nothing bad to say about the product itself. I ordered some of the 4.5 lb pails and all of them arrived broken open on their sides and spilling everywhere. Why would you package them on their sides when it is the middle of summer heat? And I can only assume the boxes were just thrown/dropped when delivered, since the lids were all popped off. This is absolutely unacceptable from Amazon.
