In general, it has lots of storage and I can keep many file folders in it - but I tend to lose smaller things because of the many different pockets - where did I put it this time lol. But you wont have any problem keeping many items with this. There is a ridged pad at the bottom of the laptop compartment that seems to protect pretty well. No damage yet! I never use the included strap but might if I were traveling long distances. I dislike that it has no underlying structure. I work daily at different locations, so it is my file cabinet, but it crumples and sags and makes it difficult to use for this purpose, which is the main reason for buying this particular item. I would like to find a more structured case with the storage capacity of this one.

Great deal. I like that it is expandable. Works great with my laptop. I have a hp envy 17.3 inch screen laptop. I like that it keeps the laptop high in the bag so if I set it down on its bottom the computer doesnt bump the ground and also it has padding and the computer is in the middle compartment. Three separate main compartments including the computer area back and front and the expandability feature gives it plenty of space for my needs. I have had it a few weeks and I have used it a quite a bit and it has worked pretty good. My needs have mostly been too and from work but there is a little walking outside and crossing the street so it has done well in some action. Im an insurance agent so I have sometimes a quite a few things to carry to the office. I dont know if it would store a lot of clothes or anything ive used it mostly for office things but it might fit a pair of pants and a shirt and tie the computer and a few other things with it being expandable. I have carried pens. laptop. Laptop cable mouse. Large calendar organizer. Large executive portfolio. Small writing tablet. Brochures. Pens. business cards. And a few other things and still had space. I dont try to overfill it because I dont like to have too bulky and heavy of a briefcase and dont want to test it. But with a medium to large size load it has done well.

I had to make 2 emergency trips across the country after a few years of no flying. The first trip, my computer bag was no match for my new 16” laptop-and I wrecked my shoulder trying to carry it. The strap is padded and I carried all my crap without any soreness or sharp stabbing pains of overpacking to haunt me! I was beyond pleasantly surprised and thrilled with the price and the space. I highly recommend.

Holds amazing amount (and gets very heavy) strap that secures on roll aboard handle good idea. Didn’t get to fully test that as had to check roll aboard Main complaint is base not designed to stand up when loaded. Have to lean against solid support or falls over

So this fits my 17 laptop nicely. However, the reason I had picked this case was because it is shown with a separate storage zipper with devider and expandable. There is a separate storage and it does expand. It does not have a devider. I really needed the devider for all my files and booklets. Major let down.

One online purchases you hope is decent in real life, but the bag just seems a bit too floppy. Has pockets, but without any rigidity, its hard to find things - all the compartments just fold in on themselves. Also the pockets are all too big. Not great if you have lots of things, including smaller items, you want to have with you in an organised way. Good price. Just not sure if I’ll go back to my old, worn bag.

This laptop bag is great. I can easily fit a 17 screen DVD player, headphones, cords and half a dozen DVD cases inside and place a light sweater in, too. There are also exterior packets for more storage space. I appreciate the wide, removable strap that makes it easier to carry a heavy load. I highly recommend this product!
