The Medieval Brass is the closest match to Bronze that I could locate in a long length. It is an almost identical match to all of my ceiling fans (8). From time to time the outdoor fans (2) chains become weathered and need replacement. Plus the indoor fans usually do not have the exact length of chain required. This has made customizing and replacement so very easy at a great affordable price!

Was a good quality

Great if youre laid up after surgery and need an on off cord you can reach without being too tall or having to reach too high. My wife actually put the extension on for me and then tied a pretty ribbon to make it reach all the way down to me when Im lying in the bed. I wouldnt want a piece of chain in the bed with me but the extension, plus the ribbon works beautifully. I can feel around in the dark and find the ribbon and turn on the light without moving from the bed. If the ribbon gets out of place I can even use a wooden stick that I keep with me to help grab things and simply wave it until it grabs the ribbon and then pull the ribbon to me where i am in the bed.

Just what its supposed to be. I do prefer the one length of chain and the batch of joints (as opposed to a pack of pre-cut extensions) so that I can choose how many of which lengths I need. Of course its a simple item that did the job perfectly--no more grabbing tools to turn the fans and lights on...
