I have not used it in the rain yet, but at first trying of it, it opens ok but does not close good at all. You have to really work to close this thing using both hands and that seems like something that will be more inconvenient then just using a regular umbrella.

Use it for school dismissal, big water proof and automatic

I bought this for our trip to Disneyland. It was perfect! We went at the end of August and used it when standing in line for rides and just standing around in general. It worked great to keep the sun off us. I also took it to the beach and it worked well as a sun shade. It also worked wonderfully as a light diffuser when taking selfies on the beach. No harsh sun on my face in my pics with this. Great product!

I was honestly expecting something big but this is a single person umbrella.

10 ribs (not 12 as indicated in photos) with big canopy. Very sturdy. Love the auto open/close feature. This will be my travel umbrella. Love the purple color with reflective strip. Happy with purchase

This umbrella works well and is very cut but it’s heavy. So it’s not that convenient to tote around on a rainy day.

Don’t waste your money, the only time this umbrella opened was when I pushed it open with my hands. The button never worked and it definitely didn’t stay open on it’s own. The picture you see is definitely a better quality than you’ll actually receive. If you are able to get your umbrella to open, count yourself lucky. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a very common occurrence with this specific umbrella. You can buy a better quality umbrella for less. Take the time to read reviews. Some of the 5 star reviews were actually bad reviews.

Gave it 3 stars because the button only worked once I started slamming it with a pen. It wouldn’t click at all and it felt jammed in. Once it started working though, it’s a good umbrella. Update: I have to push the umbrella inward so the button can be pushed for it to expand. Kind of an inconvenience.

It’s pretty and sturdy haven’t tryed in windy rain , but it’s very strong and hard and sturdy and pretty , it’s easy and close easily except to close umbrella to stick to make it short had to push hard and will get hands wet when doing that unless ur fine leaving the stick Long until drys

Nice compact umbrella I can fit in my purse for ball games. Its thick and the opening and closing mechanism is the best
