Really cleans the face well and removes ALL makeup, including mascara.

I have oily acne prone skin and this works well. A little bit goes a long way. It removes all makeup too.

Even at the end of the day with my make-up that has been on for over 12 hours. It is gentle, yet gets the job done. I demand a lot from my facial cleanser - I expect it to thoroughly remove my makeup as well as clean my skin. Very few products do this but Basis surprised me. I never tried it before but found it on sale with Subscribe and Save. What a great product! Basis removed my makeup, including thick black mascara, with a rich lather. The scent is refreshing and light and the S&S price is a great value. I have combination skin and this gel suits me perfectly - not too drying or too emoillent. It just leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. Im stocking up now.... the Basis cleanser is an excellent product that should work for a wide range of ages and skin types.

Gentle for sensitive skin, but completely dissolves makeup. Doesnt feel greasy like cream cleansers. Just right!

I have been using Basis face wash for many years. Its gentle, not drying and I have no allergic reaction.

My face had broke out from wearing those surgery mask. So I switched to cloth mask and started using this, with witch hazel as a toner, and I’m already seeming results in 2 weeks time
