Ive used this cleanser for several years and it leaves my skin clean and soft. There is nothing harsh or abrasive in the gel and it is a gentle on my sensitive skin. I also appreciate that it is reasonably priced. I do recommend this lovely gel facial cleanser.

I have been using Basis face wash for many years. Its gentle, not drying and I have no allergic reaction.

I have used this face wash for several years now. I have oily skin and am prone to breakouts. I use this in the morning in the shower. I also use it as a second shampoo for my hair which is prone to be oily and I get breakouts on my scalp. I just use my shampoo, rinse and then use the Basis on my face and scalp and it keeps my hair looking fresh all day and reduces the amount of blocked hair follicles on my scalp. I do not use it to remove my makeup as I think using it twice a day was too drying for my skin. I use an all natural hand-made soap to remove my makeup and between the 2 soaps, I only occasionally get blemishes. I was buying this on another website but the price is double what it is on Amazon.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FACE WASH FOR MONTHS NOW AND REALLY LIKE IT. I LOVE HOW IT ACTUALLY CLEANS MY FACE AND LEAVES MY FACE FEELING SOFT AND FRESH. THE ONE DOWN SIDE TO THIS IS THAT IT DOES NOT HAVE A PUMP TO PUMP THE DESIRED AMOUNT OUT BECAUSE SOMETIMES TOO MUCH COMES OUT WHEN I TIP IT UPSIDE DOWN, OTHERWISE IT IS GREAT ALL THE WAY AROUND! THE SELLER IS AWESOME AS WELL! THANK YOU!

Removes washable makeup easily with no scrubbing. I have fair, sensitive skin and there is no irritation. Also does not dry out my skin. I’ve been using this for years. Love this stuff!

I like this cleanser for a couple of reasons. Firstly, this cleans quite well without leaving your skin dry which makes it good for any kind of skin type, especially sensitive skin. It also dissolves make-up, but wont completely get rid of all traces of it. I also love how it foams up. The cleanser is transparent when it comes out of the container, but it foams up and turns white when you start using it on your face and with water. The consistency isnt too runny, nor is it too thick. If I could compare it to something, Id go with castor oils consistency. Another great thing I like about this is the very subtle fresh fragrance. Its not too overwhelming that itll disturb your smell. Overall, great basic cleanser. I have combination skin, so I do tend to have some breakouts around the forehead and chin area. Additionally, I have some other skin concerns such as black heads and large pores. As this is only a basic cleanser, it wont help you treat any of those, but it does help just keep your face clean from the days grime and sweat.

Used for face. It gets the job done for oily and dry skin mixed. Smells good.

I have been using Basis for many years. I have not found it in stores recently, so I tried several other products, including some from Neutrogena, Simple, and Clinique. None came close to Basis, so Im very happy I can buy it on Amazon! It gets all of the dirt and make-up off my skin, which is not an easy task since my skin is very oily. I loathe make-up removers, especially eye make-up removers which are usually oily and always gets on my contact lenses, so having a facial wash that gets everything off is essential. Basis even takes off my Clinique waterproof mascara. It does all of this without irritating my eyes, even with contacts in, and does not irritate my sensitive skin, and it leaves my skin very clean without drying. Basis does everything one could possibly want in a facial wash.

Good product and value. However, because its a gel that requires water to use it with, Ill only use it in the shower or when I dont care if my hair gets wet. Plus I hate when water drips down my arms while Im washing my face. Other than that, its great. Works as good or better as the more pricey brands.

i have been using this for years, i love the product, leaves my skin feeling very clean. I also like it because it doesnt dry out my skin.
