> 3 dayWe are presently without power. Lost it just yesterday. I had a smaller , personal size fan , saved me from a totally sleepless night , but, now needed bigger and stronger. This Fan is perfect ! And it arrived the very next day! Early afternoon too!!! Yes! We are still without power ! This is truly a life safer !! Plus 3 speeds. , easy , no fuss , battery installment. As , last year , I purchased good size fan, and still cannot get battery compartment open , needed a screw driver ! Like really ! We usually need this in an emergency situation , the last thing , you need, is to deal with a tricky battery compartment !! Now , if you can make , an even bigger Size!!? Even better. Also has a timer , so, you will not forget to turn off and waste battery life. Needs D batteries (4) Thank you Amazon ! You are there for me, when I needed a product the most !!!!!! You Rock!! As does this fan Also light weight !!! Easy to carry to beach!!!

> 3 dayI ordered this for my daughter to take to camp with her. The cabins at this camp are not air conditioned and outlets are limited. Worked great for her two week summer camp. I sent extra batteries with her but she did not use them. She said the fan quit working at the high speed the second week. We swapped out the batteries to see if that was the problem and it worked just fine again. I didnt expect 2 week battery life for running at least 8 hours per night so I think it did pretty well.

Greater than one weekWe were out of electricity for about 3 days due to Hurricane Ian. Living in Florida - it got pretty warm inside the house. This fan was awesome. Battery powered, pretty quiet, long life. It helped us to stay comfortable without AC and we kept it on all night to stay cool & promote air movement within the house. Im thinking of buying another. Great product.

> 3 dayA hook or some other way to hang it would be helpful. During a recent heart wave it ran on high all night and into the next day. And still have life. The noise level on high is a bit loud. And a way to hang it would be helpful.

> 3 dayI bought this a few weeks ago and put in fresh batteries. I loved it the few times I used it, maybe 3 hrs overall. Now, when on the high setting, after a few seconds, it turns off. Low or Medium is no problem. This thing is brand new, if it happened 3 years from now - no big deal. 2 weeks? Not good. With the prevailing humidity High is necessary! I was sent a message suggesting I use brand new batteries. As previously expressed in the first sentence here - I did. Fresh batteries means brand new D cell Everready.

> 3 dayI loved this little fan the first time I used it. I was mainly going to use this on an upcoming cycling trip, for a tent fan. I set it up to use with my trainer and testing the lasting power of the batteries. So far it has been very quiet, I used it in my bedroom one night and used it to put some air on some wet hanging clothes. The timer works well, and there are 3 levels of power. Great little fan so far. Still have to check the length of the battery life and see if the fan can withstand the packing and unpacking that will occur on my trip!

> 3 dayI think they may call this a camping fan, but I would not rate it as anything but a personal fan. Overall it’s maybe 8 x 9, but the fan itself is no more than 5 to 6 inches wide. It lasts a super long time on the lowest setting with the 4 D batteries. I did not time it on medium or high, but the low lasted several days. Nearly silent on low, there is noise at high but I can’t see that it would bother anyone even if they were watching TV or radio. Fan strength at low is good for about 2 feet. What I love about this little fan is that I can take it anywhere. I’ve used it next to my bed, in my car, and on a side table on my porch. It’s very light and has a handle as part of the frame. You can tilt the fan 180° vertically (blowing straight up, straight down, and varying degrees in between). It clicks into seven positions but I found that I could position it in between those clicks and it stayed pretty well. It has a timer feature that I think will be useful, but I did not try it yet. It has a USB cable, I guess to run off a laptop or maybe a portable battery charger (like for your phone), but it will not run on the USB cable while batteries are in it. If you plug in the USB and batteries are in it, the fan will stop. I did not try running it off the cable yet. I think the price is really good for the convenience, the portability, and the battery life. I would recommend this, but again as a personal fan not as a camping fan for more than one person in a tent or at a picnic table. At the highest setting it reaches about 4 feet, maybe a little more, so maybe in a tent with two people it would move air around but I don’t think it would last long on high battery-wise. I like this fan so much I’m thinking about buying another one.
