> 3 dayPerfect fit, and protection for the lower back and spine area. My son is 53 weighing in at 109 lbs. We went with the adult size due to the Youth Size was too small in measurement. As you can see from the picture, it covers his entire lower back area, without restricting his motion. I recommend putting a small drop of Blue Loctite to secure the fastener threads, to the shoulder pads, so that it will not loosen up during the game.

> 3 dayThe only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because size is off to me I ordered the size my 12 year old wears for his schools pads and when this one came in it better fit my 8 year olds pads. He wore it during the season and it was good!
