Description calls out there are 66 pieces but it does not say how many of each size. The three largest diameters had only one piece of each.

Great craft product, it can be bent using pliers. Shipped in a plastic tube so they arrive strait

I wasnt sure what size I was going to use for a project. This was EXACTLY what I needed. You get more of the the smaller ones. So a single large one, two of the next, and so forth. I think maybe 30 of the super thin ones. Handy storage tube as well.

I personally didnt know what size of spring I needed to make, just knew it needed less than 0.5mm and this bundle has a lot to choose from. I used the biggest size to help make a 3D printed Torsion spring maker. I really like the amount of rods you get giving anyone plenty of room to mess up a few while you get the hang of spring making. Came packaged nicely in a plastic tube , no bent rods. Will have to come up with some uses for the unused rods. Good to have on hand too I guess.

These are neither spring steel nor stainless steel. They are medium grade steel rods. The specs are not accurate, based on my sizing them with my calipers, which indicated some were above spec and some below spec. If you just need hobby grade steel rod, these may work for you. If you are expecting music wireor piano wire as was once widely available, this isnt it. Neither is it spring steel (once bent, it stays that way and will not spring back). It appears to not be stainless steel, based on the fact that you can pick it all up with a magnet, and some of it appears to have been shipped corroded. However, if you only need an assortment of small steel rod, (not quite as good of quality as the wire used to make a paper clip), this may work for you. It is a low grade product, but may be ok price wise if you find a few of the pieces usable. I did find once piece in all of this to suit my needs, and will probably find a few other pieces of this pack useful to have on hand. However, except for a few pieces, most of this (and almost all of the smaller sizes), are junk to me. If I knew of any option of getting a better quality, I would recommend it instead of this. Im not a fan of Chinese junk, but what else are we to do?

Well-packaged; all pieces are straight with no kinks or bends.

This is not spring steel as it states. It has a memory. You bend it snd it stays 15% bent.

I used these to make springs to replace the ones for the lid on our wastebasket. Id never wound a spring before and the result is a little wonky, but it works. I now have a whole bunch of extra stock in case I need to repair something else.

Wire was fine, but who in the world decided to wrap all the sticky cellophane tape around them? Not only tape around the whole bunch, but around each type too! I spent an hour removing the tapes and then using solvent to dissolve the residue left on those thin wires. If you must tape them, use a more removable tape. It was really irritating and several of the thin wires were bent.

Came in a plastic tube with rubber stoppers. Nice! Great looking rods for my scale model work.
