Bear Archery Fred Bear DVD Collection, Multi

In this day and age we are used to High def video and crystal clear footage. Not the case with this, the old time footage of Fred who was way before his time videoing his hunts. Excellent content, good stories just not the quality. Entertaining old school footage that worth the look.

Every hunter out there either gun or Archery, young or old you must have the knowledge of Mr. Fred Bear. He is the most legendary Bow hunter of all time. I am sure if you are reading reviews on this you know Fred Bear. I have seen lots of shows on his hunts and read many articles online. This 8 hour 4 DVD collection has footage I have never seen before. This is a perfect gift for the Fred Bear fan and for any age group to understand the classic way of hunting. For those of you not having much knowledge on Fed Bear looking for a gift to give your search has ended. You won’t find a better price than on Amazon.

This is a great set of Freds hunting documentaries. I had seen these selling for much more as individual DVDs, glad I did not buy them back then. This is everything on 4 discs and I enjoy watching them everytime.

These films bring back glorious memories of a legend of a man. They also light a fire for those returning to the traditional ways, like myself. Fred Bear represents much more than just bowhunting and bow manufacturing. He cared for the earth. He cared for people. He cared for the animals. These films reflect that very clearly. There are some great interviews here with Fred Bear, and some hair raising moments, and some great video of other bowhunter friends of Fred...that you will know. I miss him, as do many of us. I am thrilled he left us all with these memories and his thoughts. I only wish I could have met this man, but this is the closest thing that I know of. Thanks Fred...you are indeed my hero.

What an unbelievable deal. All of the old vintage Fred Bear movies all included in one DVD set. I had many of these old individual movies on VHS tapes, but they have deteriorated over the years and most are unwatchable now with either the sound or picture disappearing. So when I saw this DVD set, I had to buy it. I dont believe these were digitally remastered in any way. The picture and sound quality looks just like the old film movies, but that is OK with me, it has kept the old vintage feel to these treasures. They are definitely a step back in time quality wise, but thats what makes them so cool. When I think of archery and bow hunting, I automatically think of Fred Bear. I remember as a very small boy watching some of the old Fred Bear movies on TV, I believe they were on Curt Gowdy and Grits Greshams The American Sportsman show. There was even an episode with Fess Parker, the old Disney Daniel Boone character hunting grizzly bear with Fred. When I started to play these old movies, it catapulted me back to a simpler time in life. Fred Bear was responsible for instilling in me the love of traditional archery, hunting, conservation and sportsmanship. I have been shooting traditional archery for 43 years because of Fred Bear. I highly recommend this DVD set. Thank you for the memories Fred Bear.

This guy is the father of Bow Hunting; just to have it as memorabilia is a treasure, not to mention the entertaining content!

This set of DVDs is in excellent shape. There were no glitches found when they were played. It is a good set to buy.
