> 3 dayAfter smoking the bearings on a trailer on a recent trip to the back country, I realize that that is an experience I never want to repeat. After getting back from the terrible experience, I bought these to add to my trailer. Some tip from my experience adding these: A) It is easy to remove your old bearing shrowd and tap these on with a rubber mallet B) Take the time to remove the bearings and pack them with new grease before adding these. C) Make sure you have a grease gun with a large reservoir. Once you add these you will need to pump a ton of grease into the hub in order that the spring plate on these starts to see positive pressure. D) The rubber cap is a little cheap and has come off the trailer. Had to order a new one. Not a big enough issue to ding these.
