We put one above every door. Super useful with kids: to keep snooping eyes off the Christmas presents, to free the kids from the bathrooms they have accidentally locked themselves in, and (most often) keep the other kids out of the room the baby is napping in. We noticed they kept falling off the molding above the door, due to insane little people running around the house slamming doors with wanton abandon. Bought some of the magnetic tape with adhesive backing, 1/2in x10ft, cut strips a few inches long, cut in half lengthwise for 1/4in strips, and put these above every door as well. They don’t affect aesthetics (either not visible or barely visible), and provide just enough magnetism to keep the keys up there come hell or high water. 3 children and these are oneless problem to solve when they lock our interior doors.

Now I can open ALL the doors.

They are as described and work. Cant ask for more.

Handle needs to be shorter, would be easier to use.

I have Kwikset door handles and these match up with and work just like the originals.

We now have keys for almost every door and it’s great peace of mind to buy these as a package and know you have them when you need them. They are sturdy and look nice.
