They are very solid hooks, and they are very easy to install. I use them to hang a pride flag from my ceiling.

As a hook they are fine, but on almost half the ones I installed, the gate failed almost immediately.

OK, these are great. Outdoor wood or indoor (garage) studs, these screw in easy, by hand, even without a pilot hole. Comes with a clever little drill attachment that makes it super easy to install them with your cordless drill. They seem to hold up well outside and it is nice to have the spring clip on them in windy weather. Have to be the handiest, go to, hanging type fastener that I have found so far.

We purchased these to hang outdoor Addison lights. We purchased a separate drill bit to make installing these hooks quicker and easier. I like that the hook has the closure to keep the light just where we wanted them to stay.

Only received 14 of the 20 that are advertised, 1 broke installing in a pre drilled hole. Came up short for my project and have to order more because I was cheated out of what I ordered.

Been using awhile and it holds a wind chime under a gazebo and withstands strong winds. Nice sound.
