This is a great board for someone just starting out, whos intimidated by the price tags on higher end boards because you dont know if youre going to keep skating and just want to try it out. That said, if you do end up loving skating, start swapping things out on this board as soon as you can. The bearings are so-so and dont have removable caps for cleaning + oiling, so after awhile thatll slow you way down and make the ride gross. The trucks seem sturdy and the wheels themselves are alright. I dont remember if this came with my skate tool or not, so make sure to grab one so you can fiddle with your truck tightness as needed. They were super loose when mine came in and that can make learning harder, as its harder to balance. So yeah decent starting point but def look into upgrading pieces asap.

The wheels are made out of sturdy material that prevents pocks or other issues from things such as gravel. Very sturdy with good grip and bright colors. Bought a second one to leave at our house for our grandson who is learning.

Just received looks solid and my 7 year old loves it. The wheels look a bit smaller than those on the skateboard I had bought my other son a year ago but doesn’t seem to make a difference in performance for a beginner.

Wonderful for skating around, and is sturdy enough to handle basic tricks! (Ollie, shuvs, etc)

Im not a skater so I went by research here on Amazon and also by the fact that my granddaughter wanted pink or purple. It seems that there are many options and the quality varies widely but it looked like this was a good one for a 6 year old just starting. I was very pleasantly surprised when at the birthday party where we gave this to my granddaughter her aunt who is a skater said it was a very nice quality and much nicer board than a beginner needs. She completely approved so I was very happy about that as she typically shops at a skate shop and pay a lot more. I feel this is a great value for a beginner board and am very happy with my purchase.

Good quality, great for beginners

This was purchased for a beginner (hard to please) teen and it was well received. The design and colors were perfect (vibrant). The wheels are not cheap which was great. I do like that it also came with a lug nut tool to make adjustments. Good purchase.

We got this skateboard for our 9 year old daughter and she thoroughly enjoys it. The length and width of the skateboard is great for her small frame. The skateboard is also not too heavy and she is able to carry it when she is not riding it. Her father and I like the fact that all the pieces are replaceable, it’s study and well made.

This is a great skateboard for beginners. I am doing really well right now and I hope to continue.

very easy to use for a beginner and even came with a skate tool! though i didnt like how they wrapped the board in plastic and then screwed on the wheels and bolts. it was difficult to remove the plastic.
