> 24 hourThis is the manufacturers oil for my Bell & Gossett pump that I use to heat my home. No issue with detergents or additives that could damage the pump.

> 24 hourMy wife and I bought an old house with hydronic heat. Our second winter there, a loud squealing came from the basement which turned out to be the booster pump in its death throes. Old houses dont come with instruction manuals and the lady whos estate we bought it from probably didnt give it a second thought, either. At the time, $900 for the new pump was more than we could afford but the idea of freezing to death didnt seem very appealing. I ordered the replacement. My father helped me install a new B&G motor and pump on the boiler. It came with a tube of this stuff and I followed the directions and filled the three oil cups; two on the bearings and one in the pump. Every year since 2005, Ive been dutifully following the directions and for the last 17 years the pump has functioned flawlessly. Its so quiet, I have to put my hand on it to tell if its running. I always order a tube ahead in case it becomes scarce. I just ordered my tube for next year. These old boilers will last forever if taken care of. If you have a booster pump, oil it; theyre not cheap. BTW- Still trying to figure out why Amazons Sensitivity Filter trips on this.

> 24 hourThis is the lubricant my HVAC guy recommends, and since its kept some older pumps running smoothly for a few years now, who am I to argue with success?
