The first few outside corners Id tried to cut without this tool, was an exercise in frustration and cursing. Making them with this tool is easy. Once you get a couple corners under your belt with this, youll breeze through them. Was able to trim baseboards around a column with 9 outside corners in roughly an hour. Saves time and is accurate. The corner piece is usually 5/8 short point to short point. To me its worth the small price tag.

My house has all rounded corners and this gadget helped me out a great deal. Its really just a piece of plastic and Im sure you could make a similar template easily but for the price and the amount of time it saved me I found it paid for itself quickly. I did some bullnose corners before I bought this and they did not turn out as well. I didnt have any trouble with the cuts that some others reported but I always measured to the marks I created with this tool and then took into account blade kerf and didnt have any issues.

Handy little piece of plastic! I use it in conjunction with my handmade baseboard template to mark & measure outside corners with ease.
