This product is being used in an aerial set-up and only needs to hold 100 pounds. It installed easily in a cathedral ceiling. You will need someone who isn’t afraid of heights or drills. Durability is unknown at this time, but seems assured.

The motion on this is great. Its a very solid piece of hardware and I feel much safer with my kids swinging from this as well as little to know twisting of ropes with the smooth ball bearing action.

I bought and installed this item to hold a saucer swing. The installation was easy. My 6 year old son was swinging and the metal ring holding the pin in place broke. The pin flew out, and the swing fell. My son was lucky he wasnt hurt. I reassembled the swivel and put a nail through the hole in the pin and bent it over so it could not come out. I has been fine ever since.
