> 24 hourGreat two pack. Easy to install and flawless. Using this as a second network interface on my computer for my legal torrents. You can have the software use only that specific network interface which I have on a VPN. But it’s worked like a charm.

> 24 hourTested both on Windows 10 and Mac OS 12.6.5. Reason I gave 4 stars is I had to unplug it and plug it back into the Mac before it actually worked. So far, no problems beyond that. Note, before I unplugged it, it had a green connection light and the hub had a light. Seemed to be something with the OS not recognizing it the first time perhaps?

> 24 hourThis review is for the BENFUI USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet LAN Adapter, 2 pack. A nice looking pair of USB 3.0 to Ethernet adapters, with a metallic body. Included was a driver disc, but it wasn’t needed with Windows 10 or Debian Linux (kernel version 5.10). I did the majority of my testing in Linux to test network speeds with iperf. I showed consistent tests with both between 930-940 Mbps. The only thing I noted about them is the RJ45 connection is tighter than most receivers, but still manageable.

> 24 hourVery fast - instantly recognized by Windows 10. I ran a couple of speed tests vs WiFi 6, sitting 3 ft from the router. Wifi got 117 Mbps down, 17 up. This adapter got 390 Mbps down and 45 Mpbs up. (Screenshots attached.) Id call that a good result. Recommended.

> 24 hourThese are usb Nics that you do have to install the drivers before you use them. So if needing in a pinch, I would pass. If using long term they will work fine.

> 24 hourI got these in anticipation of purchasing a new laptop. Apparently, sometime in the past several years, laptop manufacturers have decided that Ethernet ports are no longer something thats needed on laptops. These arrived quickly and were packaged well enough to prevent damage during shipment. The adapters appear to be very well made. Theyre sturdy, and the short cable is not stiff and attached to the USB and RJ45 connectors well enough that they wont pull out or become loose during normal use. They use an ASIX AX88197 Gigabit Ethernet chip, which is common among devices like this, and AFAICT is a decent chip set with good support. It were detected by my Linux system as soon as they were plugged in. No drivers need to be downloaded or installed, they were recognized and ready to go as soon as they were plugged into the USB port, and as soon as the Ethernet cable was plugged in, it immediately received an IP address from my router. The same went with my Windows 10 computer. I plugged the adapter into the USB port and moved the Ethernet cable from the onboard RJ45 connector to the adapter and powered up the computer. There were no error messages, no notices and no problems at all. The computer recognized the adapter right off the bat and connected to my router with no problems at all and no interaction from me. There was no difference in performance between this adapter and the onboard Ethernet on either system. If youre in need of an Ethernet port on a laptop that doesnt have one, I highly recommend this product.

> 24 hourI am very pleased with this adapter. I have two Dell laptops, neither of them perform as they should. One is an I7 with 32 gab ram and it came with a 10/100 Ethernet adapter. The other has a gigabyte Ethernet adapter but is flakey. May perform reasonable at times but most of the time unacceptable speed. This adapter provides my full ISP speed, 600 MB+, consistently. Data transfer across my network between devices is finally like it should be.
