Picked this up on a deal here because it checked most of my check list (Not much) - Did at least 120hz - 1080p+ - BUILT-IN SPEAKERS. I love this screen, I was always told BenQ were supposed to be good products, and if this is where my expectations are set, I can only imagine how good of an experience a screen thats 2x the price is from them (Consoomer mindset) Picture quality is crisp and sharp @ 1440p. If you prefer or need to step down to 1080p, it does appear to not be very optimized for it, which I guess makes sense. Blacks look pretty good in most instances, when watching a Discord stream of a friend playing a dark scene in a game, the display seemed to struggle. But I dont fully consider that a fair test, First hand it will likely be dark enough and not too washed out. The screen wakes up fairly fast Id say. My old monitor was an Asus VN247 which probably took 2-5 seconds longer to wake up than this (If you care about that) If youve looked up reviews for this on YouTube, I found a lot of them say iTs NoT bRiGhT eNoUgH, yeah maybe if youre playing directly under the sun or something. Its plenty bright to me, I turned it down to 70% The HDRi button may be of use to some people, but I dont really feel much of a need to use it personally. Most cases it will make it very dark and hard to see, but in well lit environments, it can flex its muscles a little bit if youre into it. The speakers are a godsend, my old screen had speakers as well, but were rear facing and hollow sounding. I got by like that for ~10 years. These are so much better. So much.. The 2 front facing speakers have good range and sound production for my environment and the subwoofer on the back adds a lot of depth to the sound. I use the Pop/Live setting and find it covers every listening situation for me. For what I paid here for it, I have no regrets. Im hoping this will cover me as long as my ol Asus did.

This monitor produces an insane level of electrical noise. I purchased a new set of studio monitors because I am getting into DAW song production. I have spent the past week trying to troubleshoot why Im getting extremely loud idle electrical noise being picked up by my studio monitors (Presonus Eris E5). I even bought an AUX to male Dual XLR cable, which reduced the noise quite a bit but not completely. Tonight I unplugged the Power cable on the monitor and the noise disappeared. Unless I can find some kind of filtered power cable to try, I will have to either test a different pair of studio monitor speakers, hoping that they are internally shielded, or replace this monitor.

The image looks clean and crisp. Most sturdy monitor I have gotten. I love the way it can slide up and down to adjust the height, rotation, and tilt. I will always recommend BenQ Monitors! Would be nice to be able to change the color of the orange rubber piece on the base to match my build, but it is blocked behind the keyboard anyways.

The development team for this monitor has completely failed. I have two computers plugged into this monitor, when I want to game I switch inputs, when I want to work on things I switch back, but this monitor has no option to turn off AUTO INPUT SWITCHING!! So when I get out of full screen while gaming the monitor automatically switches to my other computer when I dont want it to. When I reboot the computer it auto switches to the other computer when I dont want it to, if anything blacks the screen out (getting out of full screen mode) it changes to the other computer, SO ANNOYING. So when I get out of full screen gaming I have to actually unplug the monitor from the other computer in order to get it to stay on the correct computer. Im at a loss as to how a monitor company could remove one of the oldest features on a monitor, this is the BASICS. Now I have to sell this monitor and get a new one.

I’m a casual gamer who wanted to get into the gaming monitor experience, this monitor works great with my Ps5. The monitor auto adjusts from 1080/120hz to 2160/60hz depending on which game I am playing without having to get into the sub settings. Im not a huge visual nerd, however the quality and colors are fantastic, and with a small amount of tweaking are amazing. Keep in mind that this monitor is 1080p at 165hz and 2160 at 60hz, the max the Ps5 can output is 120hz and there are some features you will not be able to access if you are using it for console gaming. However that being said it’s a solid monitor and highly recommend for the casual gamers.

I was initially very happy for this monitoring, almost no lag in gaming! After a few months of use, this monitor started to flickering a lot. I tried all possible solutions and still the screen flickers. Very sad. Its hurting my eyes.

I was interested in this monitor even though I already had a 27 1440p 144hz IPS display because it seemed like it would do a lot to help the ergonomics of my battlestation setup: the USB hub would reduce cable clutter, and the speakers with built-in subwoofer (a feature no other monitor but the EX2710Q and its stablemates boasts, as far as I am aware) would allow me to get rid of my dusty cheap Amazon 2.1 speaker system and hopefully be good enough for casual listening. My first impressions were fairly positive. The picture is on par with other 1440p IPS displays. There were no dead pixels, and while I am not the type who is bothered as much by backlight bleed as some, it didnt seem excessive. Nothing to find fault with visually. However, the HDRi feature BenQ touts heavily seems like a gimmick to me. I cant detect it reacting and adjusting to ambient light at all in either the game of cinema HDRi modes, and I simply left it on regular HDR most of the time. The speakers, while they couldnt match the max volume of my old discrete 2.1 system, were clear and not tinny with a decent amount of bass - plenty good enough for sitting right in front of the monitor, if not capable of filling a room with sound. Unfortunately after one day of use the subwoofer developed an unbearable buzz regardless of audio mode or volume setting. It was noticeable just listening to someone talk in a YouTube video, and the shield recharge noise in Halo Infinite sounded like the monitor was going to shake itself to pieces. Since the audio capabilities were the single standout feature of the monitor for me - there are many monitors with equivalent display specs and built-in USB hubs, and more feature-rich ones at that - this was returned. To be clear, with better quality control, and a couple of extra bells and whistles, BenQ could have made a top-notch gaming/productivity hybrid battlestation hub monitor. The lack of any USB-C port here seems like a corner cut. Other brands offer displays in this class and price range that add integrated KVM switch capability to their USB hubs. Instead BenQ staked the value proposition for this display on the HDRi, which is disposable, and the built-in audio, which does indeed sound much better than average monitor speakers but on my example at least only for a few hours of use. This was probably bad luck, most of these -probably- wont have their audio hardware start to fail within 24 hours, but Im skeptical about how many last through the warranty period and who knows what dealing with BenQs customer service is like. If BenQ had been able to bring all these features (except maybe HDRi, which I am not convinced is anything other than empty hype) and made them work reliably at this price point, this monitor would have been a winner, albeit one with maybe a fairly limited audience. But alas. Without being able to depend on either of the distinctives its marketed on, this is just a 1440p, high-refresh rate, IPS display, and a perfectly decent one - but with nothing to set it apart from the many other options available for those seeking these basic display specs.
