Just purchased a few weeks ago. Took it on first trip and strap broke on return flight.

This bag would hold enough for me for a 3-4 day trip. I especially like that it zips three-quarters of the way around and opens more like a suitcase than a backpack where you have to load from the top down. The straps can be unhooked and hidden and the bag carried using the side handle, which also means its a bit safer if I ever want to check luggage on an airplane. There are three external stash pockets, two on the front and one on the side against your back. There is a side water bottle pocket which doesnt seem deep enough to be useful. There is lightweight but bulking padding on the back that I assume/hope will deflate a little with use to made the bag less hulking. The cons, that knocked off one star: Its pretty heavy and wide, which is unfortunate for a bag that is meant to go on my back before Ive put a single thing inside it. The picture is a good indication of how this looked, which is sort of shiny and very very solid pink. The pass-through port intended for a cord is in a strange place, at the bottom interior, and I cant imagine wanting to put my external battery in that location instead of an outer pocket. Its a good bag for a road trip but I doubt Ill carry it as a backpack very often due to the weight.

Got this backpack for my wife and she really likes it! It has a ton of different pockets/compartments and is very versatile. The straps can fold into the backpack to then be carried by the 2 different handles on the sides. It has a chest strap and lots of padding. The rectangle shape is a great size for carrying a laptop. Has a zipper to expand the size for more storage. Would be great for shorter hikes as well as a carry-on bag for flying or as a diaper bag for baby stuff.

Love this bag can fit a week or more worth of clothing into it. It also fits my laptop and there is plenty of space.

The bag isn’t durable with weak metal for straps. I just took the bag from the original package it came in two days ago a day before I left for my vacation to Europe . The metal clasp for the strap broke in the airport today as I was switching planes in Europe going through security . The metal clasp broke when I was taking the bag off my back to put on security belt . I had to tie the straps to continue on my trip . I’ve never had a back pack that had the straps break apart before . Now it is too late to return it to Amazon because I did my vacation shopping months before I left the country .

I bought this to travel on Frontier and Jet Blue. It fit under the seat of both with no problems, however be sure not to over stuff since it is easy to do so. I did overstuff it and had to take a few items out so that it would fit in the personal size bin (though luckily neither airline was making passengers test their bags on my flights). It was quite heavy but held up great. I kept my 17 laptop in the very back compartment and kept my 10 iPad in the very front compartment for easy access. I love all the additional pockets to keep things organized. I also like the elastic straps inside the main compartment as well as the straps/parachute clips on the sides to help make the bag a little smaller. The padded straps and padding on the back of the backpack made it comfortable to wear despite the weight (note that the straps and padding do take up some real estate, so keep this in mind if you need it to fit it in an airlines personal size bin). Its a great bag, especially at this price point. I highly recommend.

This is a great bag, backpack, weekend bag, or whatever you need it for. Has plenty of storage, its even expandable, storage pockets everywhere, even room for your laptop. The straps are padded and has nice padding for your back. Handle on the side in case you want to carry it like a suitcase. The only thing that needs improvement are the toiletry bags that come with it. They are poor quality.

On my latest trip I used this amazing backpack! I packed it full and no problem at all, will use this many times in the future. Thanks to all that posted positive reviews, its why I picked this bag.

I bought five different travel backpacks in this price range and narrowed it to the Homiee travel backpack and this Beraliy. Both are really nice for the price. The Homie was my top choice except it is just a bit smaller in width and length, but thicker when expanded. I really loved the waterproof coating on the Homiee and the mesh divider that means no need for cubes. If my trip was a few less days (weekender), I would have chosen that bag for sure. However, I needed maximum personal item size to get all my weeks clothing in. And, the Beraliy bag was a close second choice anyway. So, I went with that one. I managed to get it all in along with an extra pair of crushable type (HeyDude) shoes. It is a tight fit. But, I am still at under the 17lb weight and size limits for ITA Airways carry on, and under for most domestic Personal Item limits. I also have a small handbag that I carry my camera and other electronics in to keep this bag under the needed weight limit But, I could probably fit the electronics in this bag as well if I left out a few accessories. This Beraliy backpack is a big change from my normal wheeled carry on bag. Of the 4 bags I tried along with the Homiee, the Beraliy was the nicest overall with most of the features that I wanted. The material is lightweight and well padded. And, the straps and comfortable. A plus over the Homiee bag is that the straps have a pocket to conceal them when not needed. The main compartment is very roomy for the small dimension. And, a nice feature is that the expandable section of the backpack is zipped like a compression cube, and can be used in much the same way if you dont overstuff the bag. There is a padded compartment for a laptop, and another section for electronics or notepads...etc. There is also a full length, wet compartment to isolate any damp items. But, my main reason for going with this pack is the overall capacity vs. what qualifies as a personal item. If you pack it full and stuff it under the seat in front of you, there wont be any room for your feet. But, it should manage to fit. I have a wheeled bag that also qualifies in this size, but loses a lot of packing room for the trolley mechanism. Looks to be a good bag. Well see how it holds up.

Holds a lot. Just know your limits, you will be using as backpack. Lots of pockets. Almost too many. I like the pink but I should’ve bought black. Pink shows the dirt, since I put it under the seat on airplanes.
