I got a car for each of my boys (one likes pink, the other orange) and both boys love their cars. We drive them a few blocks to the local park. I figure they get up to 8 or 10 mph if the boys pedal hard. Solid construction that can easily bear my adult weight. A clever suspension system that allows the body of the car to twist a bit so that all four wheels are always on the ground. Only one rear wheel is driven but the suspension system keeps this from being a problem. This also means that only wheel is used for braking and that could be an issue but it has not made problems for us yet.

A favorite in our house! We bought 2 for Christmas and they are hands down the most used you in our garage! They are sturdy and drive with the precision of a race car. The only thing I wish is that my kids had a bit more room to grow into them. Overall well worth the investment.

Well made and 5 year old granddaughter loves it. Only complaint is that it is supposed to fit an 8 year old. At 5 she has already maxed out the adjustments

We really liked this blue pedal car but had to return it for the next larger size. Grandson is seven years old, sixty pounds and four foot tall. His legs were just a little too long even though seat was at the furthest back setting. The car had a 110 pound weight rating and I thought we would be good but didn’t work out that way. However, Orange Rally is a perfect fit and should give room to grow. The return process worked well but keep your inner and outer shipping boxes until your sure a return is not needed.

I didnt think I would be happy with this, but it is VERY sturdy and my 5 year old grandson LOVED it!!!

This is the second Berg Junior Buddy we have purchased as a gift for a child within our family. My husband continues to be impressed with the quality and performance of this pedal go cart; he has assembled both vehicles after their delivery which occurred three years apart. He believes the engineering and performance of this toys features are consistent with a safe breaking system, unobstructed visibility for the child driver, and accurate and responsive steering. The Berg Junior Buddy unexpectedly attracts considerable public attention when first seen in motion. We didnt anticipate how fast, smoothly and quietly, this toy vehicle can be propelled by pedal power alone. It never fails, both children and adults approach and inquire: Is it motorized? Is it custom made? How fast can it go? Can I try it? Where do you get one? Grown men are especially interested in the engineering. The children in our family wear safety helmets. My husband also mounts a Berg Safety Flag unit behind the drivers seat.. however, he is not satisfied with either the color (for optimum visibility) or the weight (wind sock flutter) .of the actual Berg Flag so he purchases a replacement flag. On her birthday, our 3 year old grand niece seated herself in the pink car and within minutes announced, I drive just like Mommy. They have a large, flat driveway where we chalked a racing oval (with short cuts) on the surface for her to practice revving her engine, braking on command and driving within her lane. It was truly amazing how skilled she quickly became maneuvering this pedal go cart, especially when compared to a tricycle, which is a tribute to the Berg design and quality manufacture.
