This item worked out perfectly and I now have space to store stuff under my laptop.

Holds a small laptop fine.

It is heavy but It supposed to be since it need to be strong enough to hold the laptop.

I was very impressed with the quality of this item vs the price. It is very sturdy, looks sleek, and was vey easy to assemble.

The stand is sturdy and stable. The product was designed to match the Apple aesthetic and it does. It is slick, clean, easy to assemble and is functional.

The stand seems well built and looks nice. Its not adjustable height, so keep that in mind. As you can see in the photo, the horizontal support on the right is slightly longer than the one on the left. Given the rubber liner on top of each, its not a problem functionally, just a little surprising, then mildly annoying when I first put it together. It didnt bother me enough to take the time to return it, so Im using it without a problem.

This stand looks sleek and is the right height, but if you anticipate needing to type on your laptop or to use the touchpad while it is on the stand, you should know that it wobbles just enough to cause the aluminum to squeak. The wobbling is not a big deal, but the squeaking is intolerable. WD-40 helps, but next time Ill look for a solid structure (rather than a stand that comes in two pieces). I imagine this wouldnt be an issue for folks who dont plan to use their laptop keyboard while it is in the stand.
