Greater than one weekI got this half-expecting it to be somewhat flimsy or bouncy. It is nice and solid, has a good heavy feel to it and the full metal construction is heavy duty. The black finish looks great. Ive only had it for a few days and ordered it for a laptop that has not been delivered yet so I havent put it through its paces with the intended laptop, but works just fine on my wifes 15 MacBook Pro. Ill give it the benefit of the doubt as my laptop, while larger (17.3 screen form factor) is likely not going to cause it any issues as it is about the same weight as my wifes laptop. I will update if necessary if I have issues with surface, size, paint chipping, longevity, strength, etc...but if this is all you read, then it means I didnt have any trouble with it enough to get back on and update this review.

> 3 dayI mainly use my laptop at work and just plug in to a bigger desk screen. Having my laptop running, flat on my desk all day made it very hot. Using this keeps air flowing underneath and my device stays cool. It’s a good weight, very sturdy, and the anti skid grips do t scratch my desk. I would recommend to others.

> 3 dayGot it and assembly was very easy. Looked sturdy. But instantly disappointed when I put my Dell 15.6 inch Inspiron laptop on it. It doesnt support the size of the 15.6 even though the advertisement claims it support up to 15.6. Instantly returned it.
