I got this urn for my sweet boy, Garcia, who passed away August 30th after 17 years, 3 months. Garcia was a 20(ish) lb. Jack Russell. I chose to go with the medium size one so he wouldnt be cramped in there, as he didnt like kennels. His ashes came from Rainbow Bridge in a nice felt pouch and the whole pouch fit in the medium urn with a bit of room to spare. Its a wonderfully made, high quality product and Im waiting to take it someplace to see about getting it engraved. I will try tp update this review when that happens, but I am waiting until I am ready.

This pet urn is beautifully crafted. The color I chose is an emerald green, It’s a nice resting place for my furry friends. I recommend this product.

This is a nice urn and a bargain. With 3-5 dogs at any given time in my life, I have purchased many through the Vets with the cremation process - very expensive and average looking at best. They have worked as the medallion oak boxes hold ashes of two large dogs and I have stored them in partner pairs - geez, that sounds awful! This one purchased for a female whom I adopted at age 8, she fit in but was always kind of a loner, not choosing a partner amongst the lot. choosing instead to watch them and boss them around. She succumbed to several years of cancer in April at age 14-1/2, a tough old girl! Found this one night checking out options, Its a nice heavy piece for the money. Our Princess Sophie would love it!

I recently lost my little girl to a large tumor on her liver. Her brother and her were my life and my only family. My vet offered cremation services so I had her cremated. I found this and following an excellent idea from another poster I ordered one large enough to add her brothers ashes when the time comes. I rescued them when they were 5 1/2 weeks old and they have never been parted. Together in life...together in death. It sits on top of my TV stand. The urn is surprisingly heavy weight and the lid fits nice and tight. As someone else said the paws are a little rough but this material is very hard and not easy to engrave. (I know, I am a machinist, yes a female machinist and I work with different metals.) The etching is a series of little lines and not rounded. I took black enamel and painted it in the groove and carefully over the rough edges. Now the gold paws stand out on the silver. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the urn and know that my little girl has a safe place for her ashes.

    Greater than one week

I bought 2 days ago with Amazon prime and just opened the box tonight, all I can say is WOW. I bought the small slate with pewter paw prints (I call it nickel) for my beautiful Maincoon/Tabby 9 pound kittys ashes. I am EXTREMELY PICKY and what a huge surprise to me that I am so blown away with the color, the feel, the look (especially the engraved paws) and the overall quality. I was so pleased that I had to get on Amazon and tell everyone that this is perfect just like my gorgeous boy. It had come wrapped and protected really well and it came with a purple velvet bag for the ashes but he was already in a blue velvet bag when I picked up his remains. It has a screw on top so you dont have to worry about anything falling out even if it fell, plus it wont break because it is not ceramic or glass but made of a solid material resistant to breakage. I just want to say that this urn made me really happy. I know that my gorgeous boy is in a perfect piece I am proud of. It may be hard to believe but the picture really doesnt do it justice, wait till you see it in person, you wont be disappointed

I just recd today after months of shopping on line. Perfect size for our beloved Boxer/Beagle Bernice (65 lbs) who was such a joy in our lives. We were the blessed ones to have given her a loving home at 1 yr old after being rescued from a bad situation. Losing her after 13 yrs still hurts the heart. She died suddenly after having a clear bill of health from the vet 10 days prior - leaving us on her own typically no problem terms. This urn is perfect for her being our first female after 2 male boxers whos ashes sit in brass boxes - the rose between 2 thorns as they say. The packaging was terrific - I thank the company for their quality product & shipping & handling.

I lost my best fur friend and having her ashes is comforting. I love the craftsmanship and just the way it brings it out. It fits her personality. Thank you

This urn was nice-looking and a very good quality; however, there were chips in the paint- straight out of the box- brand new. I planned to use it for my 4 Best Friends- for the rest of my life- and couldnt help but wonder how it would hold up with time- being wiped down/dusted, moved, etc. I opted to return it and keep another one I had ordered.

I got the purple one, its very very dark purple in person, which is fine. The paw prints arent as defined but it is done by hand (I believe) so perfection if not expected. We are humans and we are not perfect, however I am super happy with my purchase and I really hope my baby will fit inside, he was a big cat!
